Pictures are now up! And yes it seems a regular thing for Ami to ride sans helmet! Hint he prefers you to pronounce name Ah-me then Ay-me btw.

Stallion show funI heard that there was a small stallion show happening in town, and boy was it small. In that hardly anyone was there. Still it was enough of a buzz to get Sumba more then tizzed up and he was meant to be in the youngstock division. He was skitting about more like a yearling than anything. Thankfully at least Jonas was able to show him how it was done, like a pro. It was Jonas' class first so Sumba was left tied up. Lucas took pictures of us in the ring with him trotting next to me, and we scored almost perfect marks. There would be a pause and then it would be Sumba's turn. After tieing Jonas up I untied Sumba. That was it. As you can see from the pictures Sumba wasn't having any of it, dancing around in a circle just wanting to go. I thought I had him calmed down for the showring, but along one of the long sides he changed his mind, chosing instead to try and race on ahead. He wasn't impressed with not been allowed to, and showed it. We didn't place high, but I was expecting that. It was his first show after all. Lucas seemed to like taking pictures of his antics more then Jonas' sadly. But you can see how our day went ((or didn't go more accurately)) below as always. Now if you'll excuse me I have Dreamer to tend to.

Ohh, you started a story! Just finished reading the first 3 parts. I gotta say, I love it. It's great how you show the beginnings of Ami and his horses. And he does have some gorgeous equines there, especially Jonas, he just has this sth. Can't wait to see more of them.

Ami mentions he's male ((I know he lucked out with a feminine name)) and thanks ^_^ I love Jonas - he's just come up for stud, he's also the main competitive horse while the others are trained up

Nice. Too bad I only have grey IDs. Jonas would make an awesome stud, but I don't want to have any more greys.

Show Prep funWell its been some time since Jonas last was prep'd for a stallion show, the pictures shown above. So hearing of one coming up we, and by we I mean I figured I'd best bring him in. Lucas was there, when isn't he the little brat that he is ((I love him all the same though)). He was solely there to take pictures, and he made that obvious with his camera been held ready. So bringing Jonas in from the fields wasn't TOO bad. He was quite willing to follow lead, indeed he seemed rather happy to see us - sorry Jonas boy, I'll have to hire a trainer soon to help me keep on top of all these horses. No the joy started after we'd got him in the round ring for some lungeing. It didn't help that Sumba and Heston were stood for grooming, and general practise just standing waiting about. The first thing those two started to do was to whicker, which only spurred Jonas on. Mainly bucks, and pouncy rears of excitement - which I guess we can forgive. I swear that stallion has an ego. After a while however he started to calm down and loosen off some of the energy that he'd had, becoming calm and workable with. I guess I can't complain, must be hard 3 days in a field after all. This'll potentially be his last show for a while as he stands at stud. However following are the pictures Lucas took, he's got a whiz on something called Photoshop. I don't know what that is, all I know is he's at least made us look good! Oh and as he's near on twisted my arm behind my back here's a series of pictures he's taken of me without me even realising. He said it was using something called a smart phone? I worry about that kid. First a shop for photos on a computer, now a phone that's smart? What is he going to come out with next!!
