This is set to detail the challenges Ami has encountered setting up in a new place, on a new island Starting afreshThe journey from Appaloosa plains to Querindock Isle certainly wasn't...what I quite expected. Then again neither is this isle. When I first saw the advert it stated a 'ready to go Equestrian center'. You could hardly count this... dump as ready to go. There's plenty of work to be done. Even worst a squatter had taken up residence in the shack called a home. Still at least the locals seem friendly enough. Anything is better then staying at Appaloosa plains. After the fire, I had to get away. So I brought with me my five horses, Star, Jonas and Missy who were my original foundations and then Choco and Lucky who were their foals, they've just grown to four years of age, to this wreck. The fields are no where near horse safe, but I've spent what little money I had left over to fix that. Also adopted a sixth horse, called Sumba. He's just reached four years of age, Choco, Lucky and Sumba will be trained before being bred. But all that's in the far future. So Anyway, this is my new start. I'll keep you updated, I can see I'll have to win plenty of competitions to get this centre to the point that's needed. Anyway - I guess I should leave you with some pictures of my stock so far. These are all ID/Hunter type horses - though some might be ISH, I'm still working them out.

Some are definite CAP purebreed IDs, Star and Jonas are definitely, I know I've been told you can get pinto IDs but I'm not so sure if they've got confused with ISH

Show wins coming inIt was a foggy morning when the Korrif International Championship was due to take place, indeed there were some worries as to if it would happen. However happen it did much to alls relief, none more so then myself, I'd taken my old trusty horse, Jonas. It was important that I bring in money, with my breeding facility almost ready it also was needed for my horses to all be top quality! Here are some pictures of us competing if you're curious - we came first by the way! That's our 6th First at international, with only 2 second places. ((Shuush! I forgot to put his riding helmet on!))

Waiting on a WishRecently I'd got into contact with an old friend of mine, Nathan. He let me know he had a delightful filly that should settle in nicely at mine. Of course I was interested, and after seeing pictures I knew I had to have her. So it was one morning with my son safely at school I headed down to the docks to meet my newest purchase. Of course I was worried about her being all right on the long journey over but I needn't have worried. As is usual for such a long journey the foal was sleepy but otherwise fine. With me I'd brought Missy to keep her company as I led them both back to the mare and foal barn. The first thing I did following was to introduce her to the stables general surrogate mother, one of our hunting dogs called Lucinda. She does love tending the young foals, especially those without mothers. With the foal, and her adoptive mother safely settled in it was on with the rest of the days tasks.
