Hi guys! Lucas here! Yeh, Ami's a bit busy so this won't be the normal story update it would otherwise be. Ami's at shows, but he gave me permission to go and take pictures of the foals with their mothers! 2 are going to go up for foal crop, two were the result of Jonas covering a mare for someone else so he told me I have to be very very careful. Anyway, here's the pictures. I'll try and get more of Ami and his work and get him to write a better story update later on. These are just in from the developing tray by the way so you're really really lucky. I had to pause in photo taking to bring the mares in as it went really dark and stormy, the foals were more then happy to follow thankfully. But anyway, that's distracting myself. Here's pictures! -Lucas out

You have a total of 2 foals! The 2 gray foals together are the two that were produced, they're both well trained in jumping and racing by inherited skills ((Ones 10/10 the others a 7/10))

A Foal crop previewGood day all - Ami here. We've finally got all the foals born for Julys foal crop, and I figured I'd best get you some pictures as a sneak preview just before me and Lucas have to go off with Jonas, and some of the youngstock for some competitions Jonas has been entered in. The youngstock mind are only going for getting them used to a show atmosphere. This way by the age of four they can go into competitions without possibility of being scared by the atmosphere around them which is always more bustling then what they're used to. Lucas also managed to teach me how to use a disposable camera at least! So yes before I show the ones Lucas took here's the one I managed to take - okay I admit Lucas did sort of touch this one up a bit as well but here it is: And here's the foals, apart from the black tobiano they're all fillies! From left to right we have GH See any wonder (Our only colt), GH Shoshone Diamond, GH So the cookie crumbles, and GH Chardonnay Darling. The first two were produced from GH Whats up Missy, the second two were produced from GH Stardusts Gold, both were covered by GH Jonas Hope. Here's some more pictures, this one is of GH See any wonder and this one is of all four foals with their mothers grazing nearby. As you can see GH See any wonder is a bit protective of the other fillies, showing his caring confident side as he watches over them all. Anyway, must dash or we'll be late, I still have Sumba and Heston to load up, I'm sure Lucas will have been distracted into taking photos again. Must remember to bring his .... portable computer thing Lucas: DAAaad! Its a LAPTOP! Bye anyway.

Hi again! Lucas here! Uhm anyway, I'm live on the cross country course - that's right I'm typing this on my laptop! We've JUST got to the show world, well we got there yesterday and oh my goodness our home is HUGE! Its not our permanent home its a vacation home but still its massive! And I have a floor to myself! Yeh that's right an ENTIRE FLOOR! I love the views I get from my window. Anyway here's a picture of the house we'll be staying in while we're here: As you can see pretty impressive huh? Its so pretty and I just HAD To take the picture. Other then that after the horses were settled in Ami took Jonas out to get some practise done over the show jumping fences to check he wasn't too tired from travelling and that he'd not injured himself anyway. As you can see Jonas sure can jump! hehehe! Dad looks funny looking so focused. Finally we got onto a run around the first few jumps of the cross country course - which is massive by the way. I wish we'd brought another horse with us that I could ride as its hard work keeping up with dad to take photos. Here's one that I really liked, he's not jumping but he's just come down off the huge bank behind him and is turning towards a fence. That fence really does scare me with how large it is. I know normally I'd give you lots of pictures but I don't have my darkroom so I've had to chose just three that I thought were the best! Anyway hope you enjoy the update. Gotta run! Ami just fell off Jonas straight into water! I wish I had my camera ready for that!! - Lucas out

The building work continuesAmi here, the pictures will be following shortly - Lucas is busy getting them all ready. So, some of you may remember that when I first arrived at Quendock it was a mess. At least the equestrian center still worked, and there was a bank. I've had to take out a few loans that are now paid off - thankfully - and the facilities really are coming together. I was working in our new indoor arena with Jonas as the weather outside was horrendous - absolutely throwing it down with rain. I have to say I do love that arena, it even has some stalls in it that enable other horses to be kept to hand if I have more then one horse to work with - also works well for any skittish cases if we ever get any. Talking of Jonas, with the amount of work he's doing I went to a horse fair - not my favourite place to go but you never know what you might find - hunting for a gelding to be used for competitive work even if they required some training. The idea was for just one, however it would seem a competitive stables had just gone under. I came back with not just one new horse but 4, the person selling said they're all Irish Sports Horse registration eligible so we'll have to see. Came back with 2 geldings 2 new mares. Hopefully that should give us enough competitive wise to let Jonas have some time off, though I admit its a shame the black one was gelded, I'd have loved to have used him for breeding. Anyway must go, horses to feed, chores to do. Expect Lucas to pop in with the pictures later. ((The horses: Nearest - Sumba, Been ridden is everyones favourite Jonas, Following that is PF Wish I might ((who's 1 years old ((got aged up early ^.^;; )), and then Heston
