I love your horses, Emma! I'm definitely going to be keeping a very close eye on them in the future! . . . I swear that didn't sound as stalker-esque in my head.

lol Thanks Erin! and don't worry, not stalker-esque at all Thanks Lidija!! Today I'm excited to announce that Maple Ridge Stables has bred their first two foals. We have a new Trakehner colt out of MRS Not Another and MRS Alaisiagae who we have named MRS Lestat. Lestat is an adorable little sabino chestnut foal with a great sense of humor. He makes us all laugh with his crazy antics and he and our other new foal are already best friends. MRS Lestat Trakehner Colt MRS Not Another/MRS Alaisiagae Our second new foal is a Holsteiner colt named MRS Kryptonic out of MRS A Separate Peace and MRS Chasing Fortune. Kryptonic is a stunning seal bay foal with great conformation and some real athletic talent. MRS Kryptonic Holsteiner Colt MRS A Separate Peace/MRS Chasing Fortune These two foals are the only two foals at MRS so they've quickly grown into best friends. The two of them spend all day together, racing around the pasture at break neck speed and engaging in mock battles. We are very very excited about these two and we honestly couldn't be happier with how these breeding's turned out. We can't wait to see these boys grow up!

Thanks for the comments guys! And Milla, thanks so much! I do really like Chasing Fortune, she turned better than I expected her to actually! Maple Ridge Stables has another new addition!! This time in the form of a gorgeous Trakehner mare by the name of MRS Contessa V. Contessa is a stunning sabino liver chestnut mare with a lot of bold chrome working in her favor to make her one of the flashiest mares at MRS. Whenever we have a visitor Contessa is always the first mare to be noticed. And she loves all the attention. She will trot right up the the fence, taking advantage of her beautiful stride and flashy good looks to trick the visitor out of a few treats. MRS Contessa V Trakehner Mare Foundation/Foundation Showing off that beautiful stride! And a group picture of the mares and their foals. Despite her sometime high and mighty attitude, Contessa gets along very well with the other mares and does very well with the foals.

We've been busy over the past couple of weeks at MRS. Three of our horses have entered in their first show jumping competitions!! MRS Not Another was ridden by Emma Votoure in the SJJ Grand Prix Jumping Show. He did fabulous and we are hoping that he gets placed well.
Below are a few pictures from his entry. Also, our two performance mares entered in the RE Autumn Grand Prix. Both girls did absolutely fabulous, although I have to say that MRS Cloud Atlas (the gray) looked especially awesome flying around the course. MRS Flirtation MRS Cloud Atlas Comments are always appreciated

As a Trakehner breeder here (and for several years on an extremely well known online game), I'm giddy that there's some gorgeous new stock for me to hopefully access in the future. I'm an old school girl, though, and had to go and make my own Trakehner template with a more 'broken' nose. The modern heads just don't really do it for me. TBH, I find a lot of sim-Trakes look like Holsteiners or some freakish Thoroughbred cross. However, your lovely lads and lassies are stunning, and I have a bay sabino filly that would make gorgeous babies with MRS Lestat. [e] Actually, the head Marie Green posted is one of the examples I used when making my template. Its bridge is ever so slightly convex. I'm most definitely not an Arabian fan, so the more convex the better!

Thank you Arabelle! Oh MRS Lestat is only a few weeks old and the ladies are already lining up. lol! As far as conformation, I know my style may not be for everyone, but I like it. I'm not a big fan of Arabian head either so I prefer to go for the convex, straight bridge type. Thanks for the input tho!

Thanks Erin! And I've actually entered a few more shows I may be getting addicted. But this time it was with my two foals and the pictures turned out well I think (and cute) so I thought I'd post a few for you guys to drool over (lol jk) MRS Kryptonic and MRS Lestat were both entered in WHS Warmblood and Arabian Futurity Show. I'm hoping for some good results!
