How do you find out the pose codes? The creator should list them along with the download. IE, if you visit the link to one of my pose packs, you'll see that I listed the codes to all the poses in the description. (However, with my poses it is not necessary, as I always make my packs pose-list compatible.)

I mean when I make one, how do I find mine out? Uh, it's the name you typed in when you first export it from s3pe. XD From now on, I'm only going to answer questions that aren't included in either of the tutorials. These are very basic questions that reading the tutorial thoroughly could easily answer.

1.) Open in s3pe (C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 Pets Limited Edition\GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuild0_p10.package). 2.) Once open, find: ah_simbin_simpose_neutral01 3.) Right click, and go down to "Export and rename...", and type in "ah_YourName_PoseNameHere" (Obviously, change to what you want the pose name to be--but make sure to keep the 'ah_' prefix.) 4) Back in Blender, open up the horse rig. 5.) Go to File->Import->Sims 3 Animation--find the ah_Name_Posewhatever you just made, and double click to open it. 6.) Make all the adjustments you want to the rig in order to make your pose. 7.) Hit "a" until all the joints on the rig turn blue; this means they're selected. Hit "i", then in the menu that pops up, hit "LocRot" 8.) Go to File->Export->Sims 3 Animation, then double-click the "ah_Name_Poselkahsgslk" file again to save the pose into that file you made. 9.) Go back into s3pe, go toFile->New, then Import->File; Import the ah_Name_Whatever clip--BUT BEFORE YOU HIT OKAY, make sure "Keep Resource Name" is checked, and change the group name from 0x00000000 to 0x48000000 . Hit okay. 10.) Save the package. (The name of the package does not matter.) 11. )Move the package into your mods folder. 12.) In game, type in "ah_Name_whateveritwasnamed" into the pose player. Alright, this is the pose making process in the ABSOLUTE simplest terms I can describe it to you. These are all covered in BOTH tutorials in the original post of the thread, but hopefully this is easier to understand. The name of the clip, therefore, is decided in step #3 above.

BTW - something as more of a timesaver that you may want to mention Margo - if you just export the simbin_neutral01 you're using NOT to be used but to say the same folder you've saved your rigs to it makes it a lot quicker then going to gamedata Fullbuild0

I may add that later under a "time savers" section or something.** Edit:** That and I was thinking about actually uploading my file just to make it easier on everyone, so no one has to bother with the FullBuild0.packages at all. ^^

Thank you for all this these poses really are fantastic! I have downloaded and started playing with your poses in my game, but I have trouble positioning my sims and horses before the pose. Just wondering if you had any tips or if its trial and error.

Just wondering if you had any tips or if its trial and error. For the most part, it is unfortunately just trial and error. Pose-Makers can minimize how annoying pose positioning can be by positioning the axis of the pose directly over the "origin" of Blender and making sure the sim is facing North (which I always do for all of my poses), but in-game, the "turning" process of sims can be dreadfully annoying. I sometimes spend a good 2-5 minutes positioning sims, as I'm particularly anal. You can minimize the annoyance by pointing a sim directly left/right/forward/back along the grid lines in buy mode, but that only works for pose pairs where both sim and horse are facing the same direction.

To use poses in your game, you only need the Pose Player and the poses, you don't need Blender or anything related to it
