I think dappled horses are to die for, but it seems I can never have one. I always run out of layers to make my horses dappled because I have so many other details and it takes me about 10 separate layers to get the dapples looking right. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue so I would like to make a request to anyone out there: dappled regional markings! Here are some picture references of what I'm talking about.... maybe a nice dapple gray type pattern Or more subtle dapple bay This would be so useful and I'm still learning how to make my own CC, so I can't make it for myself at this point. I know someone out there can help!

I believe there already is a full body dappled regional marking that on a low opacity could work?

I typically don't use that marking to make dapples. Too uniform and the dapples are too big. It is useful to use as a "background" with the opacity set very low, but for the dapples that are more apparent. I'm not a huge fan of dapples, but below are the horses I made. The foals in the picture are not dappled using the EA regional making, but using the non-regional marking which has to be placed multiple times, as I think is Lily's issue. They have more of a minimal dappling and I didn't have an issue with running out of layers. This one is made using the regional marking. She still looks good, but you can't quite achieve what Lily posted in the pictures as the dappling is not nearly as bold and the dapples are big.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about Amanda. I don't like the big EA dapples unless they are used very subtly like you did. I'm trying to make a dappled gray mare like the ones in the pictures I posted and it just does not look right :/

I'll either try and attempt this myself or I'll talk to PharaohHound, I know at the minute she's doing a Primative Pack

I would definitely adore to see a dapple pack, EA's are a little.. bold.

The dapples on this bay were used just with EA dapples in the regional markings.

I was messing around with EA's dapples because I wanted a nice dapple grey horse and this was the outcome.. Usually, when I use EA's dapples the horses end up looking slightly.. messy, but I used both types on this one and it didn't turn out bad at all. :3
