It would be awsome to show our horses using Country English Poses.Or maybe some driving poses and harnesses That way it could open up some more showing options for people.

Host a show? I don't know how many people would enter considering not a lot of people breed the gaited or driving breeds and with the point system down for the time being.

Driving would be awesome if we would have a harnass and a wagon/chariot. Then I would enter my Haflingers, definitely!

I would be more than happy to give the country pleasure poses a shot. if someone makes carts I will also do cart poses. I shall get on this tonight. Also I'm thinking of doing a gaited show soon. Everything from TWH to ASB to Paso Finos and even Saddleseat Arabs

I'm going to get working on them tomorrow, been a little busy lately. Would you mind posting some pictures of exactly what you want. Such as all of the gaits in a country pleasure class and how they move in those gaits.

Awesome I will get on that today and link you to my pose thread for the previews, that way you can let me know if I need to fix something or you notice something is a little off. I am a saddleseat person but more gaited saddleseat than saddlebred/morgan/arab saddleseat lol.

What do you mean by "more gaited than saddlebred/morgan/arab saddleseat"? I thought Saddleseat was created basically for those breeds...

Jocelyn: Saddleseat and Gaited very in several ways. A gaited horse does a 4 beat gait where as other saddleseat breeds such as Saddlebreds CAN do a 4 beat gait (the rack) but are naturally trotting horses, as with Morgans and Arabs. When I enter a saddleseat class in real life I have to make sure they accept my horse's gaited gaits (the running walk and flat walk) because a lot of them won't. If they call for a trot and your horse doesn't trot then it is considered a missing gait and you fail that gait call. Also riding styles for gaited saddleseat and other saddleseat riding can vary. As a gaited rider I stick my feet out in front of the girth near the shoulders and ride because I do not have to post and that is how I was taught/a lot of gaited people ride to pull the horse up into the bit. Saddlebreds and Morgan riders have more "correct" riding "conformation" and follow more along the lines of the ear, shoulder, hip, ankle line of body. Just a little overview so you know what I'm talking about Also I did get some previews of the Country Pleasure up. You can take a look at them Here.
