La Maravilla Stables
About Us
Owner • Arabella Rose
Services • Selling, Breeding, Showing, Training, Boarding
La Maravilla is a fairly new facility, having just opened our doors in Monte Vista, Italy on December 20, 2012, just in time for the holiday season. Our goal is to breed, sell, train and show some of the most top-quality Arabians in the world, and we are well on our way with our four foundation stallions, LM Pheonix and LM Casino Jack.
We offer world-class facilities, and have bought the entire inner-city of Monte Vista in order to do this. Our facilities include over 40 roomy stalls with individual tack areas and some turnouts, along with a multitude of indoor and outdoor arenas, round pens, pastures, and even a photography studio and hot walker.
Although we are a very new equestrian center, even now we will only offer the most state-of-the-art services and horses. We specialize in Arabians, particularly showjumping, and have three excellent jumping courses, along with a few cavaletti training areas. We will also be breeding and occasionally showing dogs once the stables are perfectly in order and up and running, myself and Sam, the main stable manager, are considering Bernese Mountain Dogs, Collies, and Bloodhounds. Alas, because of an intense cat allergy I suffer from, we will probably never have a cattery on the premises, which means we will have to be extra careful about mice.
I hope everyone enjoys our facilities. In time we will become more public, hopefully offering breeding, training, selling, teaching, and boarding opportunities to all.

Arabella Rose, 25, Owner
After her parents' deaths in a trailer accident, Arabella inherited a smaller horse operation when she was only 20. She sold that since there were no horses and very few employees, and worked jobs with horse organizations around the world in order to build up some money and experience. A few months ago, she purchased the then-named Monte Vista Stables after they became bankrupt, and renamed it 'La Maravilla Stables', because it truly was a marvel.
Max Crowley, 27, Head Stable Manager
Max and Arabella were best friends before the accident. They grew up together, and their parents were good friends, though Max's worked, and still do work, far too much. Arabella invited him to join her in opening up the new La Maravilla, and he eagerly accepted, excited to be able to shape new facilities and spend time with Arabella. He recently had to put his own horse, Pepper, down, and has been a bit depressed as of late, but hopefully the opening of the new stables and Bella's sunshiney attitude will lighten his mood.
Sam Donovan, 38, Communications Manager
Sam is a bit more uptight than most at La Maravilla. I guess someone has to be, or else everything would just go crazy. He met the others through an ad on the internet, and he is the one who truly keeps them in check. He is in charge of setting up all competitions, publicity, breedings, sales, and anything else involving interaction with the outside.
Grace Cavaletti, 26, Head Trainer
Grace was quite the party girl in college, but has recently settled down in order to pursue her dreams of a successful equestrian career. She is in charge of training our horses, and often shows them as well. She is occasionally a bit hot-tempered, but is always sweet to the horses. She truly is a 'horse whisperer'.
Sophia Rivera, 32, Breeding Manager
Sophia is very kind, and is in charge of taking care of all breedings within our stable, and ensuring the pregnancies are smooth. She also socializes the foals and teaches them the basics before handing them off to Grace. She and Grace are best friends since they must interact so often, and they occasionally teach a lesson together, since both have at one point taught people how to ride.
