After finishing her college degree in genetics, Teagan really didn't know what she wanted to do. It had been a rough, lonely 4 years of only dates with a textbook and espresso to keep her company through the long nights of studying. Although the future seemed unclear, Teagan knew one thing for certain, she wanted to settle down and start her life with a family.
Broke and in debt, Teagan went back to a familiar place where she could get her thoughts and life in order; her grandpa's farm. Grandpa MacKay had been breeding Sugarbush Draft horses for years now, but in his older age he had to sell off most his stock and was left only with a stallion and mare. Upon returning to her grandpa's farm, Grandpa MacKay was not with her long, and cancer soon took hold, leaving Teagan with a rund down farm and a dead breeding program. Determined not to let her grandpa's work be in vain, Teagan decided to use her knowledge of genetics and revive the Sugarbush Draft Horse breed.
