Eli was raised in a fairly moderate household in Rome. He grew up living the Roman way and speaking one of the lovely romance languages. There's no doubt that he knows how to serenade a woman. His parents ran a successful business in raising, breeding, buying and selling horses.
This business little interested Eli and he preferred to hang out with his friends somewhere off his property. But like most businesses do, the Vezza business was expanding and required them to move. So in a few years time, Matteo Vezza had an equestrian center built in Appaloosa Plains, where they later moved. This affected Eli, because at this time, he was only twelve and going through major changes. It was the transition from elementary school to middle school. So when they moved to Appaloosa Plains, where only Simlish was spoken, he needed to take Simlish classes.
The classes improved his Simlish, but the Italian accent was still there, and he often found himself yelling in Italian whenever he became frustrated. His father spoke Simlish fluently and also helped him.
But again, when Eli began to make friends, the business grew once more, and it was time to move again. This time, to a much larger place known as Harbors Edge. A quaint city that, outside its limits, provided a vast amount of land for agriculture. Eli's school was an hour away from where the Vezzas resided, and Eli rode his bike, his parents all too busy with their business, which began breeding dutch warmbloods some years ago.
Eli made friends easily who appeared to be intrigued by his accent and the words he sometimes mixed in with Simlish. Everything was going great! But there was one night, where everything went completely wrong. Eli was invited to a friend's party, now eighteen years old, his friend was turning eighteen as well. He received a call from the neighbor stating the ambulance was at his house. He rushed over and learned his father passed away. It was a terrible accident that Eli does not like to discuss.
A few years later, at the age of twenty-two, his mother passed away due to cardiac arrest. Eli was left alone with the business. In all honesty, he did not want to run it, and tried to sell off all the horses. However, one day, a man looking to sell his dutch warmblood approached him, stating he could no longer care for the equine. Eli felt sad at this, and tried to brush the guy off, but he only persisted. In the end, Eli ended up keeping the stallion of bay color.
That week, the stallion was displaying how thankful he was by following Eli around, sometimes nipping at the hem of his shirt, or searching for treats. There was no getting this stallion away. But how could you resist such a handsome horse? Eli began to accept the equine and the two were inseparable.
With a new hope, Eli decided to get an education in the study of equine and remodeled Twin Brooke Acres Equestrian Center.
What became of the dutch warmblood? He resides today with a twenty-seven year old Eli Vezza, who is happily engaged and has one daughter named Niccola. He named the stallion Glorious Disaster, for all he had went through with that darned horse.
