((I'll be playing Bella's teeneage daughter Crystal))
Crystal watched Pants and Lorelei around from the back of the stable. She wanted to help out with the horses, as hers were being moved. "H..He...Hello? May I make an application?" Crystal moved up to Lorelei and Izzy.

((This hasn't been active for a while so I don't know if it'll fire back up but we can try. )) Lorelei smiled. "Sure, but we're kind of underhanded so you might as well just ask for an interview," She said, giggling. "Never enough people around here," She murmered, almost to herself, rubbing Pants' nose once and shaking the lead gently to tell him to back up. She hadn't decided yet whether to lunge him or to take him back to the stable but either way she would need him to not be walking on her ankles.

(I completely forgot about this xD)
Izzy shoved her hands in her pockets and smiled at the new person. They were about the same age, and Izzy hoped they could become friends.

Crystal stared into Izzy's eyes and smiled. She hoped that they didn't find out annything on her past... that she could be normal in their eyes. "Awesome!" Crystal flicked her eyes around to Lorelei and had a giant grin on her face. ((XD Lmao))

"I'm Izzy, by the way," Izzy said to Crystal. "What's your name?" Izzy slipped one hand out of her pocket and fingered the horse locket around her neck. It was a little gold locket with a picture of her first horse, Hearted, in it. It was on a tiny silver chain. Isabella touched it whenever she felt nervous or uncomfortable. Izzy was a loner and didn't really socialize much...

Crystal smiled. "My name is Crystal. Mum is sooo busy on her stable work, that I don't really get any attention. I was going on a trail ride and I heard you guys. Hehe can I bring my horse in?" Crystal looks around the corner to where her horse was and he had a nice LARGE poop all over the ground. Crystal blushed.

Lorelei started to answer her, but froze as she heard the tell-tale horn of an all-too familiar vehicle. ((Yes, I do have to add some drama. )) Pants laid his ears back at the sound- for all the horses knew it well- and Lorelei let out a low hiss of anger and hatred. "Snake," she snarled, the word completely venemous. The man was essentially the town drunk and they'd taken lots of abused horses from him. It wasn't exactly legal how they did it- in the dead of night with the truck's headlights off- but he never had any papers and after seeing how he treated the horses that were 'repossessed', the sheriff told him that since he had no proof the horse was his, the law couldn't do anything about Lorelei's and the other employee's theiving. The man stood at least six four with long black hair that flowed out from under his dusty cowboy hat. He might have been attractive if not for the long, jagged scar running from his forehead to his chin in a crescent shape. No one knew what had caused it, but he had a glass eye as a result. If he hadn't been always on the brink of passing out, he would have been scary. But as he was, he was a sad and sorry sight that took out the failures of his life on his animals. The old beat up Chevy pulled into the parking lot (not without curb-checking, of course) and parked at an angle. The man inside opened the door and caught himself so as not to fall out of the vehicle, then staggered out. "Lorelei," He growled, but he slurred the word so that it sounded like, "Lour-lie". She merely narrowed her eyes at him. "I want my horse," He said, staggering toward them, then falling face-forward, passed out. "If that man ever stops drinking," She told the others. "He'll be one scary sight to behold. Sharp as an eagle, they say, and not scared of anything. But as for now," She said, sighing. "I guess I need to pull him into the office so he doesn't croak of heat exhaustion on the lawn. Bad for business, you know. "

*Lol, forgot about this too * Jenny blinked, head slightly tilted. "I take it he's one of your regulars?" She giggled out of shock. She took a step towards him, then immediately jumped back. "You might want to reconsider putting him in the office- do you have a wash stall anywhere?" She asked, eyes watering. "Definately in need of a shower- you could probably get drunk just from standing to near him!"

Crystal walked up to Snake. Even though she had only just turned 14.. She had guts. "Dude. Not cool." Crystal grabbed a stick and poked him. "I know how to get any infomation out of anyone!" Crystal said to the others. "Oi, Snake." Snake gently got up. Crystal covered her nose at the smell of him. "Can you pretty please tell me where the horses are.. pretty please?" Crystal fluttered her eyes, she really did sound seducive. And then Snake started to tell.

Snake started to growl something- probably something rude- to the girl, but Lorelei stepped forward and shoved him back a bit from her. "Watch it, Snake, I'll call security and you know it." She said, narrowing her eyes. He stepped forward and looked into hers, being successfully very intimidating. She was a bit scared, but she tilted her chin up defiantly. He shifted narrowed eyes on the girl who'd poked him with the stick. "I have no idea where they are, or I wouldn't have lost thousands of dollars worth of horseflesh." "Don't buy such expensive horses," Lorelei retorted, turning the attention back to herself. She knew he could be volatile, and had hit an employee before, so she was going to make sure if he was going to hit someone it was going to be herself- Although she didn't really think he'd ever hit her, or for that matter, any of the other girls there. He'd been a good man before he lost his wife, and took all his frustrations out on his animals. His lip curled, and he said nothing. Lorelei could have kept up the staring match, but instead her features softened slightly. "Go get yourself cleaned up and go home. There are showers over there in the horse barn. So help me God if you touch any of them you will regret it." She said, snarling the last part and nodding toward the horse barn. "Then go home and we'll talk about this when you're sober. He turned on his heel, sneering at her, and got back in the truck. Then looked confused, looking around for something. Lorelei picked up the keys she'd picked up off the ground that he'd dropped when he passed out. "Not without these you don't," she sang, then looked at her small group of people that she'd mostly just met this morning. "Let's go put Pants up," She said, putting Snake's keys in her pocket and starting to lead the horse toward the stable.

Izzy stole a glance back at the confused Snake before she tagged along behind Lorelei and Pants. She pitied Snake. What was he like before this? "Lorelei, what happened to Snake?" she whispered quietly, trotting beside the girl.

She glanced behind her to make sure Snake wasn't within hearing distance- Fortunately he'd found some clean clothes and seemed to have given up on driving off- and whispered back, "The scar? No one knows. He was never exactly a rose, but he used to be the kinda guy you could call if you broke down on his road or if you were drunk and knew it and needed a lift, or if your calves got out. Now?" She paused. "Well. He had this wife named Christie. She worked with us for a few weeks but she was a free spirit. Didn't like to be told what to do. Happy and pretty and young, though, and everyone knew they belonged together. They, you know, balanced." She said, pausing again to collect her thoughts. "And then she bought a horse. No big deal. He was already broke. A percheron. More of a pet than a work animal. They had him for oh, six months, maybe, and Christie decided to take him out riding. It was December and we were supposed to have clear weather." She shook her head sadly. The others probably knew where this was going, but she had to finish anyways. "You don't understand. He loved her like you wouldn't think he was capable of it, and he loved that damned horse too. They were his family. And while she was out, well, a snowstorm hit." She remembered this part a little too well. Snake and her mom had been good friends so her mother and her had been in the search party. "We found them before sundown," She said softly, not seeing what she was looking at anymore but instead at a haze of snow and ice and blood and a frozen ravine alongside a cliff. "The horse was still alive, but he'd broken both back legs. Christie," She said, pausing yet again to think about when she'd found them and looked up the side of the cliff. "She'd broken her neck. Snake was so horrified. He wasn't called that then either," She said, struggling through the memories to come up with what they'd called him, but coming up with nothing. "I was little then," She explained to the others. "I shouldn't have seen that. But we can't go back and undo it. Nor can we take back what Christie did and the horses Snake has abused since then in some kind of sick revenge. I don't think he means to. I think he's looking for whatever he saw in Christie's horse and when he doesn't find it in the new horse he goes and hides in a bottle. When he crawls out, well," She looked at a horse in a field they'd taken from Snake. He wasn't too bad compared to the others they'd saved before, but lacerated scars crisscrossed his belly and back and sides, and he was a bit thin for her taste.

Izzy's eyes followed Lorelei's and saw the horse. She gasped out loud. "What... happened to him?" Izzy stuttered.

"Drunk Snake happened to him. He's recovering and he's really the worst we've seen from Snake," She said, again glancing at the man who was stumbling toward the general vicinity of the showers. "I'm not sure who I feel sorry for more. The horse will recover. He's been through a lot, but he'll recover. But the man?" She said, shaking her head.

Crystal looked into Lorelei's eyes. They looked serious. "I know Snake.... Mum used to take in his horses. He has a boss. And I know him." Crystal wiped tears away from her eyes. "He is my Dad. It all started when a horse kicked him and left him in a deep sleep. After that he swore he was going to take vengince on all Horses. And thats where mum divorced him." Crystal looked to Izzy and then to Lorelei and shook her head. "I know where all the poor inicent horses are."
