Edeen was born in the lifeless world of Delta Stables. Edeen's mother, Lissette, fell in love with a champion race horse trainer, Gage. Everything moved really fast, and before Lissette knew it, she was pregnant with her first child. A boy, who they later named Damien. Gage was a all around racer, tell he discovered just how exhilarating show jumping could be. And what made it more fun was he actually got to ride the horses. He sold all but a couple of his racers, and populated his stalls with some of the finest hanoverian and warmbloods around. He quickly became big in the sport, though his efforts were only lived within himself. Lissette wasn't in to equestrian sports, though she supported her husband. And Damien? Damien seemed like he wanted nothing to do with horses. Tell a little girl came along.
The couple decided to name her Edeen. From the start she was around horses, and rode her first horse when she was 3. She loved horses with a passion, and always told her father she was gonna grow up to be just like him. That was until the accident happened. Gage was out competing, when his horse faulted a jump and fell. The horse turned his body in such an awkward position that Gage couldn't move away from the horse. The horse fell on him, and crushed him to death. Distraught, Edeen couldn't bring herself to go near the horses. Not yet anyway. But out of pure depression, and some hatred, Lissette sold all the horses in the stables. As Edeen got older, this brought on a lot of fights.
Delta Stables turned into a ghost town of what it use to be. Literally. Since all the horses had been sold, the stables weren't being used. No one went in the stables. In short, the place was falling apart. And they were getting close to loosing the stable. Edeen, though she hadn't touched a horse in years, wasn't going to let that happen. This was her dad's dream; all she had left of him. She worked 2 jobs, and late nights, to make enough money to pay the bills. And when that wasn't enough, she went to her best friend; Mi Cha. Mi Cha owned her own stable, and they were full of competition horses. Excited, Mi Cha agreed when Edeen wanted to compete on her horses, to gain more money. Day by day, she fell in love with horses all over again, and knew this is what she wanted to do.
Damien, though he didn't care for horses, supported Edeen. Eventually he moved out, but called his younger sister every week, and even insisted on letting him ride her horses when she finally got some. Her mother, a little older now, and still feeling lost over her husbands death, bought a small house in town where she lives quietly. Now it was just Edeen. With all the money she was making, she rebuilt Delta Stables. It's taken 3 years. Though it's not finished, she has got herself a couple horses to compete with. She promises to make herself known.
Through all this time, she came across a french shepherd breed; the beauceron. She fell in love. She studied the breed, and put together a kennel. It's now known as Delta Kennel. It specializes in the Beauceron and the classic German Shepherd Dog. Rin, her first Beauceron, is a competing dog, as well as her best companion. Rin is her rock, and she wouldn't know what to do without her.
