Hey there,
I am back now and I will try to get into the buisness here. My Sim will breed polish Trakehner horses and mybe some ponys, too.
I create the markings on my own, so I can be sure that every horse of mine is individual.
Here is my first breeding stallion:
Pictures removed due to size restrictions.
I hope you like him.
greetings Delilah

He is gorgeous, but Trakehners are always solid colors. Read breed standards here!

No they are not always solid. The ones from Poland can have pattern. Mostly tobiano but I have seen some odd patterned ones, too.
It's sad that the polish ones haven't got a wikipdia entry. But they can be registered as pure breed here in germany (and I bet that they are accpeted in many other countrys as well).
It could be that they have to be registered as POLISH trakehners, but be sure, they exist. ^^

The German register allows all colors to be registered, I just looked it up. In fact, the Polnish, Russian and German Trakeners all have the same ancestors, only that the Polnish focused more on the pintos while the Germans went for solid colored horses. As long as the horse is active in Trakehner breeding it is seen as one no matter it's color.

That's weird, I haven't ever even heard about that! And I have read a lot about Trakehners from internet and horse books and aldata there have read that they are always solid. Ann could you link that registry to me?

Of course, that's the Trakehner Verband . In the box it sais that all colors are permitted. The rest of the information I got from a German forum, the person who wrote that has a polish Trakehner herself, so I guess her info is reliable. it's written in the second post .

Yup. I have heard of those Trakehners four years ago and fell in love with them. So I hope that they'll be accepted here, too.
Danke Ann für die Aufklärung. :3 Ich hab leider nichts hilfreiches gefunden in englisch und mein englisch ist ja nicht sonderlich gut. War da etwas aufgeschmissen.
