So ever since I got the sims 3 Pets, I was pretty disappointed in the layout and design of the EA stalls (and tack... and lack of deco... and... xP). -They aren't bad if you're looking for a basic stall to just plug in to your stable, but let's face it, it's way more fun to be able to do it yourself-- at least, if you're a dorky builder like myself . So anyways, I have downloaded Buffy's stall fence, but the single tile gate doesn't work with horses, so I'm stuck using the rope. :/ I was wondering if someone could do a few fences? I would do it myself, but with as much research as I do on the matter, I just can't seem to find a TUT that explains meshing to me simply enough :/ I say fences because I don't typically do the standard 6x5 stalls that EA made, I like to change up the size, depending on breed and the horse's needs. So please, someone help! : ) ... I'll give you free horses in return xP I'm looking for this kind of gate (that horses can fit through!!!): Stall fences sort of like this, or some variation thereof:Thank you in advance to anyone who reads this/tries to help!! : )

Yeah, I have the ones from the Marketplatz, Walden, but they don't work with my horses :/ That's why I'm looking for fences and gates, rather than doors. And horses just require that doors be the height of one wall, but I don't know if EA has some script or whatever that makes it so that the doors DO have to be 2 stories in height.
:/

Actually, for gates, they have to be two tiles. Any and all gates MUST be two tiles for horses to walk through. It's only doors that actually go in and out of a building that must be two stories tall for a horse to go through.

Mmmmm I actually made my own fence/stable wall, although it has weird textures... gates and me haven't gotten along... I guess it's time to learn though, so i'll look into making fences and gates for stable stalls.

I think nona on MTS was looking into if there's any coding on the gates as I believe she mentioned something like LargeAnimals = false in the coding for them

Well I made a garden with a 1 tile gate b/c I heard horses couldn't get in there... well they CAN cause my horses ate all my sims veggies/fruits! Now I just keep all garden gates locked haha

Actually I think there's an option in Tsrw that says "no entry for large animals" or sth. like this. So theoretically you'd just have to untick it. Haven't tested it though.

Thanks for all the feedback guys : )
I would totally make my own meshes, because I have SO many ideas, but, like I said, I can't seem to understand what all the fancy tutorials are telling me to do. So I greatly appreciate everyone getting back to me on this matter, especially the ones who are looking in to the stuff with gates.

Thanks, Gem : )
Mostly the things I'd like to see are simple deco items to make things feel more cozy: Like muck buckets, bucket stacks, some better looking saddle and bridle racks, etc... That sort of stuff.
Mostly, the sort of things I would like to see can be found in any State Line Tack or other tack and supply magazine. If you ACTUALLY want a full list of things that I would personally like to see, just send me an email. : ) ((but you don't have to!!))
