Today we had a visitor from Flying Victory Stables. This beautiful mare came in to be bred to our boy NSS Salt & Pepper. She was a delight to work with, very well behaved. (Note: Salt's mane is highlighted for a Christmas show. I haven't gotten around to rinsing it out yet lol) Unloading Meeting for the first time. Getting along well! Getting the deed done. We brought the mare back home, then Liam did the evening feeding. Here's Darcy & Lullaby enjoying some treats.

Hi guys,
Just wanted to let everyone know that the stables will be closed from now until the new year. I'm just too busy to keep up with shows, stories, scrapbooking, breedings, buying and selling etc...
Yes, I will still be around so you can still contact me but response times may be slower than usual. Taking a Sims break during this crazy time of year. Do not hesitate to inquire about services in the meantime.
Thank you!

I got such exciting news yesterday! SCS Mr Darcy is now officially my horse! I've been leasing him for awhile now, and we all fell in love with him. Can't wait to start breeding and showing him! He's the best Birthday present ever! He's a very special horse, and we just clicked. My Fjord Josh, who was my first horse ever has been retired. I've had him since 2011 and he deserves a break. I never did really show him much, because he hated the atmosphere, but I rode him everyday. Now I turned him out in the paddock with the other elders and a few foals. Darcy's now my personal horse. Darcy snuck out of the paddock and decided to roll around the pile of newspaper in front of my door XD Our first trail ride after getting the great news. He's so good, rides on just leg and weight aids. Teaching him to kneel. He was curiously enough to give in to see what I was up to. I wasn't trying to teach him to do that without an alterior motive. Mounting is easier than ever! Loping around the arena You'll be seeing more of us soon!

We have 4 new horses! RLR Red River has been at our place awhile now, but I never got around to taking pics. She's a Quarter Pony filly and such a great girl. Her sir is Mozart, who's my favorite QP stallion from RiverLiteRanch! Here is RHE Handsome Horse & RHE Patty Cake. I bought this pair from Rolling Hills Equestrian. Her daughter outgrew these guys. They're in their late teens and have lots of experience so they're perfect for our lesson program. Here's Jesse trying them out. He felt really stupid on such small horses, but was a good sport. They listened perfectly so they'll be teaching soon. NLS Paint The Town is an appaloosa mare. I'll be getting pics of her soon.

MSE/NSS Whispering Willow is now all grown up and ready to start her training! She's a gorgeous filly out of my girl NSS Breath Me, and MSE's Off The Ritalin. She's going be be a terrific all round horse. Never kicked or batted an I when I mounted her for the first time. I brought her in the arena where the kids were riding so she wouldn't feel alone. My two new lesson ponies are doing splendid and the kids love them. Rita, one of my top junior students and a boarder, brought a friend home after school so they played around the ring while I worked with Willow. First off, here's an update on our two wild horses. Gus & Gertrude are wild horses who we adopted from White Hill Manor. Gus is such a great teacher and perfect for kids. He's actually my top lesson horse at the moment. All the kids love his layed back attitude and goofy personality. Here he is playing with Rita in the arena. Gertrude was very wild when we got her. We only recently got the vet in to see her because no one could get near her. She's jump the fence or run right through it. We aren't sure why she hasn't grown a mane yet, but the vet thinks it was an extreme case of lice and ring worm. She's being treated and I hope to start riding her soon. She was found running wild with shoes on, so we expect she must of been ridden before. This is CR's Forks Eye. She's owned by Rita. She's a grade pony with tons of cheeky attitude. She's quite a diva, but she and Rita make a great team. Here's Willow, getting use to her Tack. Doesn't seem to faze her. Rita's friend admiring Willow. The kids playing around. Rita got an English saddle for Christmas so she decided to try it out on Hanson. It's far better than her flat english saddle. It will definitely improve her position. Her friend Scott is riding for the first time, he's a natural! He'll be starting lessons with us! Just hanging out on Willow. Teaching her to stand. She always tries to sneak off when I least expect it. Darcy downtown with Liam, investigating the fountain in time square after the Dressage Competition. Darcy, Tait & Salt looking for dinner.
