Honestly every part of that world that doesn't directly relate to my stables is a complete disgrace. You don't want it, I promise. It was very sneaky of me to only show the decent, stables part hahaha.

Wow, Love your facilities. Can I have my own rant now? First I gotta say that I always loved buildings that are kinda simple and don't stick out on the outside, but when you go through the arch, you'Re like "wow", and you have this amazing colorful yard with many lovely corners and stuff. I think your main lot is just that, so it's self-explanatory that I love it. The colors are amazing and very fitting as well. They make everything kinda homey. Having the main lot as some kinda cross between all the other parts of the facilities sure ensures a lot of activity on it. the name fits the place your stables are located in perfectly. That valley is so lovely, with all those trees and pastures in the back. So, now I have to cut my rant short and go back to building my own world.

Yay, thanks! I first built it in a silvery-grey stone but it came across as way too clinical. Didn't suit it at all so I'm really glad you got that kinda laid back & homey vibe. & as a total noob world-maker - I'd love to see what you come up with!

& as a total noob world-maker - I'd love to see what you come up with! Do you mean me or Lidija with that? ^^ I started out with white walls as well, but I recently added some red bricks and some nice woods so it's gotten more homey. And where did you get the arches to match the federal fence? The ones in your "people areas"?

Both of you! I need to stock up on my 'what makes a good world/how to make mine less crappy' lists.
And we're talking about the stone arches with wrought iron in the top? They're EA store content from a "Pedro Estate" set. I'd get the link but the site seems to be down.

Well, yesterday i tore down a huge part of what i build cause i didn't like it and I needed some more space. I'll be working on it for the rest of the day, though. What makes up a good world is in the first place good sculpting and terrapainting. Be sure to always set opacity and fallout or whatever it's called in english to very low values 8around 10). That way you get smooth transitions. I'll have a look at the store once the site is up again. Thanks.
