ther are absolutely nothing alike :S First of all cat's braid is thinner and awkwardly cut off at the forelock while Amanda's is smooth and har a thicker braid.
Seriously Cat, grow up and don't you EVER say that to Amanda again! Or anyone at this forum for that matter!

Correlation does not equal causation.
That's all I have to say on the matter. I would NEVER take credit for anyone else's work.
If you must know, I took the braided tail, did some manipulation to it. Stuck it on the short mane, which I cut off one side...more manipulation with the forelock and such. Then used Cmar's tools to correct the joints and morphs.
I don't get mad if Gem and I do the same bridle and accuse her of stealing. Even if one creator makes the same thing as another, we all have our different styles which makes the item look different even if it is of the same object.

If someone does not like me posting this here, I am sorry, but someone should clear up this litle misunderstanding, and it might aswell be me as my thread about wanting a running braid mane sort of got this mess going. Catcorp's running braid mane was as far as I can see released on either October 15th or October 16th. If you look in my below linked thread, you can see that Amanda posted preview pictures of hers on September 27th. forum.equus-sims.com/index.cgi?board=requests&action=display&thread=4590Since Catcorp's mane was not even available for download at that time, this conclusively proves that there is absolutely no way Amanda could have copied that mesh. It happens that people happen to create the same things, but do it slightly differently. We see it all the time here with Gem's and Amanda's bridles, and just think about how much music out there sounds alike. No need to judge anyone for it.

But we all know amanda wouldn't do it shes too kind and know how to mesh herself.plus amanda's was previewed first.

Cat said something about Amanda? =O I don't know what she said on here but she's talking about it again on the Equus-Sims main site chat box. Probably because I stopped paying attention to her on my cbox. As I said, just because two people make the same thing, does not mean in anyway that one copied the other. Honestly if Cat just offered her downloads for free/without the need to join her forum, people would respect her more. I showed her the date stamp, but she insists I somehow changed the date on it so mine would be first. Because that makes sense.... I offered her evidence and she is either ignoring it or refuses to believe it. I've worked with or spoken to in the course of my CC creation Spotted Acres, Eastwind, Equus, Anne from Primrose, Jenny from Underwood, and even Cmar of MTS fame. None of us ever were mean or spiteful toward each other even when discussing or musing over similar projects. Meshing is art. Just like if I were to draw a horse and someone else drew a horse, they would still be horses, but have obvious style differences. One didn't plagiarize (which is now what she is accusing me of since she can't prove I directly stole it) the other. If anything she plagiarized me because she had posted on the same thread when hers was released. Therefore she either only read the OP and posted when hers was finished, or saw my WIP pictures and completely ignored them. I'm not letting it bother me. I know I didn't steal anything and the greater community knows it. I'm sure she'll make a big deal about it on her forum (which she banned me from) and if I lose some followers from it, so be it. I've learned from life that people with such conviction, even if it is a false conviction, cannot be dissuaded no matter the proof that is shown to them.

Don't let her get to you. Everyone with a lick of sense knows what really happened there, and I think most everyone here is willing to back you up.
