Stuff available (yes, I just copied my blog post...it's late and I'm tired...): 1. Horseshoes (set of four) - is a mesh not a marking; didn't plan to make these as I love SA's horseshoe marking, but I couldn't add the layer on my competition horse because I ran of layers making the coat, so I needed an alternative. 2. Horseshoes (set of two, front only): For those only needing front shoes 3. Simple neck collar - for the exotic breeds 4. Numbered bridle tags - Thanks to Jenny@Underwood Stables for helping me with those 5. A ribbon to place on bridles or halters - Thanks to Elin@EEC for making them four channels and Christina@Equus for the original mesh. More variations on the shape of the ribbon to come later. 6. Bit Guards Bridles - Thanks to Elin for making them four channels and the recolorable browbands; all bridles have bits in the mouth and reinless versions. 1. Tom Thumb Pelham bridle Fantasy 1. Split hooves - Can also be used on cows or the such. But since I'm going to use them for Fantasy horses I put them in that category. Manes 1. Running Mane - not perfect, but it's my first time meshing any type of hair, so I think I did fairly well. I do not consider the "no mane" or shaved mane much of an accomplishment because I simply removed the mane for one and moved/rotated the EA spiked mane to get the desired result. But! I will give you more pictures of the Running Mane. I want to be honest about my work, so I'm showing it on a lighter colored horse: Also, no editing whatsoever done to these photos. Natrual EA Stance Various Poses Flaws: 1. Braid stretches with some poses 2. Where the mane connects is not very smooth. 3. Recolors oddly 4. Rather "blocky" toward the withers Like I said, first time meshing hair. Hair is a notoriously difficult thing to mesh. When I started making content I swore off ever making hair. As mentioned above I don't consider my two other manes much of anything. Not even my third, the long one-sided mane...I just removed one side of it. So I can live with how the running mane turned out.

In writing my blog post I had completely forgotten I even made the one-sided long mane....didn't remember until I wrote it on here... so yeah....

I like the look of the braid...do you think it would pass as a plaited mane for dressage tests?

I like the look of the braid...do you think it would pass as a plaited mane for dressage tests? IRL, a running braid is definitely acceptable in dressage competition. It's not conventional and who uses one is usually decided by breed.. PREs and Lusitanos very often show with a running braid and it works for them, but you don't see running braids on warmbloods or thoroughbreds. As long as the overall appearance is neat and tidy and the neck can be clearly seen and observed, it doesn't matter that much. Some people show in lattice braids. I would strongly advise against that one though, heh.
