Did you loc the rotation before you wxported them? You just need to click file --> save, then you can save it in blender's own format and open it again later

Before you export your pose, you need to set a keyframe, that saves the rotation of your joins. to do that you select all by pressing the a key until everything is selected ( one or two times, depends on whether anything is selected at the moment or not), and the press the i key. In the menu you choose LocRot, which sets a keyframe for your rotation. After that you should be able to export the file successfully, or at least make the horses which were standing posing correctly.

Please, I need help immediately, or else I'll have to delete it because I'm going to bed Trin, remember to have a little patience, I do sleep sometimes ya know. a) Did you remember to import the clip you saved from s3pe before you started editing the horse's position? You need to actually have a clip imported in order to be able to export it. b) Before you do the 'LocRot' thing that Ann explained, you need to hit 'a' so that all the joints turn blue. They turn blue to indiciate they are selected, and "LocRot" will not work unless everything is highlighted (LocRot is essentially a way of telling the program to store the position of all the joints). c) You may be getting an error because you did not install the plug-ins properly. Do you get the same error when you try to import? I'm sorry that you do not understand the steps in the tutorials or the FAQs, but I've written/explained them as absolutely simply as I can. If they don't make sense to you, I honestly do not know how to help you. As much as I would like to be able to walk you through it step by step, it really is no different than what's already explained, and I can't be around all the time to try and elaborate on it. This might be too big of a request but I was wondering if you can do a turtorial just like the one on youtube but for horses. You can skip through the actual posing part and tell people to watch you other videos for that. If you can't thats completely fine, but I think it would help a lot of people for visual instructions I'll consider it. I already agreed to do a tutorial on how to do couple's poses, and I have a buttload of other things on my plate rn, but if I remember I might do something really quick and simple if I have time tonight so I can just get it out of the way.

You still have to import, but you can copy the pose you've made to the clipboard, and then paste it onto the clip once you imported it. Basically: "a" to select all the joints, then "ctrl+c" to copy Import the clip "ctrl+v" to paste Then of course, you can go ahead and LocRot and export the clip, if you don't have any further changes you need to make.

Hey everyone, I have a question, too. I made the tutorial Margo posted here, and everything worked, until I tried to test my pose in game. My horse didn't move into the pose, but became these malformed thing. After that I tried the tutorial on the site, where I downloaded s3pe, and everything worked, even in game. The only thing I mentioned, that is different is the step where I have to change my animation-file into a package. Margo's tutorial says I have to change the group name into 0x48000000. But the other one says, I needn't change anything. Which way is right, and why doesn't it work, when I change the group name? Yours, Blue

Yours, Blue Hey, Blue You definitely need to change the group # to 0x48000000 for animal poses; it does say this in Orangemitten's tutorial, but only in a small notation at the very bottom, so its very easy to miss. So you definitely want to continue doing that. Unfortunuately, its very hard for me to tell what you might be doing incorrectly to cause it not to work, so if you could either describe step-by-step what you did, or upload the .package you made and send me the link so I can take a look at it, that would be very helpful. Hey Margo, I lately found the thing that confuses me: In the box, that pops out, when I import my animation, it already says, that the group name is 0x48000000. I don't know, why it doesn't work, when I use your tutorial Well, I just show you the animation I made with yours, maybe you'll find something. But please don't laugh at it, it is my very first animation I made Attachments:

Hmmm--I don't think the forum likes having packages as attachments, hon. I think you're going to need to email it to me--send to to kaleeko@gmail.com
(Also, I can't tell from the attachment, but make sure you send me the .package you made, not the clip. Thankies!)
