Just thought I'd share these. Hello all, just joined - have never played TS3 like this before so please be patient with me as I learn the ropes! Anyway I made these really quick for my three foundation mares... hopefully will have something a bit nicer for foals in the future...

Looks great! I would make certificates but I just don't have the determination to continuously make them.

Thank you always open to suggestions for improvement. I don't plan to have too many horses so I don't think making new ones should be too hard, I hope

WOW! How did you get them to look like that?

I used vector layers for the hanoverian "seal", used a simple layer burned in the background for the large hanoverian brand in the center, did the DS with regular font (entered + spaces, shortened the line height a lot) and lowered the opacity down (I still don't like how this looks I will change it in the future). The ribbon is just layers - I had it embossed but I thought it looked like too much was going on so I backed off on that and just left the drop shadow. The rest is just typing. Thanks for the posts you guys, I'm glad it looks good. Like I said I hope to do something a bit better for future foals but for now this is what I could whip up in a few minutes and I was impatient to starting "playing"

Vectors are objects in photoshop - you know the cute facebook, twitter icons? Those are usually made in vector paths instead of just layers of colors. The biggest benefit of vectors is they scale up and down way better. Do a google search for free vector tutorial there are some good ones out there, then start playing around with them they're easier than you think at first and are very useful in editing as well
