Eliza was just four years old when her parents were killed by a terrorism attack in Israel. Her only living relative, an estranged aunt in California, welcomed her into the fold as the child she never had. Although a bit eccentric, Aunt Nadine nurtured Eliza's sense of individuality and introduced her to her first love - horses. Learning to ride and care for her childhood pony, Tyke, helped Eliza heal and recover from the trauma of losing her parents in such a tragic and sudden way. When adjusting to life in a new country got tough, Eliza turned to Tyke as a best friend.
At age 10, the shy girl met a new friend and confidant, Shawn Wisner. Shawn's outgoing nature and no-nonsense take-no-prisoners attitude inspired Eliza to be the friendly, outgoing girl she is today. The two women are still thick as thieves and even went into business together, teaching riding lessons and now finally founding their own farm.
But now Eliza is finding herself wanting something more. She surrounds herself with her beloved horses and throws herself into her work, but something is missing. Can Eliza balance her new business while opening her heart up to new possibilities?
