Illu being my OoC name. Hi all!
Now, I'm fairly useless at taking pretty screenshots, BUT, I am pretty handy with pen tools and photoshop in a slightly different way.
Admittedly, I don't draw as much horse stuff, so these are the only two I have, but I thought I'd put them up anyway. I've had to crop some and reduce them in size, but the essence is the same.
This one was the first one I attempted to colour: This one was me attempting to draw a friends character: Images resized by Axelle to meet forum rules. Please size your images to the proper dimensions in future posts

Wonderful! I struggle with the inking tool so bad. You'll have to show me how to do it, haha, My lines suck! These are lovely

Ooooh, lovely!! These are fantastic. I've never really gotten the hang of drawing horses, they always give me trouble... I love the shading on that top one, though. Magnifique! Do you have a deviantArt account? I'd like to stalk you. >: ]

Wow, just amazing! I never can believe what people can do with photoshop, I use it since four years and am not even close to what you can. I honestly envy you and think you deserve a lot of respect for your art

@ Paige Paint Tool SAI. Seriously. That's all you need to know as far as smooth, crisp lineart goes. For linework, it completely trumps photoshop in every way.
@ Margo Thankyoooou! I never got around to making a DA, but I did have a tumblr for all 30 seconds. I keep intending to turn it into something and then just... letting it sit there. illu-art.tumblr.com is the one.
@ Everyone else Thanks for the kind words, guys.

+Follow'd! Arrrgghh I am SO jealous of your faces, you have no idea. I am absolutely awful at drawing people that actually look like the person I'm trying to draw, hahahah. XD I've always been tempted to start a tumblr for art as well, but like you I'd pry just end up neglecting it... So, I post it on my simblr and it always ends up rolling with the tumbl-weeds... lol.

Alright. I decided to dig out some old screenshots and polish them up, as well as take a few new ones. I tend to play my Sims games like an actual storyline, so sorry in advance if I sound massively pretentious. >.> These three are back from John's policing days back in Bridgeport with his horse, Jigsaw. John's held onto Jig, and these days he lives a cozy life of semi-retirement, working as a demonstration horse for John's lectures. (Fun Fact #1: If you're wondering how I played it, I picked the PI job, and basically had him running jobs on horseback dressed like that. Good fun.) (Fun fact #2: Tobiano may seem like an odd colour for a police horse, but I actually based him off a real one you can find strolling around London.) This here mare is an Australian Stock Horse passed on to John by Molly, a friend of his (private stable), for behavioural correction. When he got her she was ornery, nervous, and aggressive, and finished up friendly, obedient, and brave enough to ride down the middle of town without even a shred of tack. He kinda regrets giving her back from time to time, but she was never his to begin with. The mare's since gone on to become quite an accomplished jumper, and John's called dibs should Molly ever decide to sell her. In less horsey news, should John ever seem unusually stressed in the RP boards, that's because since leaving Bridgeport he's taken back the old family farm. It was in... bad shape... shall we say. Barn was falling apart, house needed the whole exterior redone, and that's just the start. Here's an aerial view, Build Mode Grid and all. Aaand, here's a random shot of the trees around the house. Because I was feeling artsy fartsy that day or something...

hahaha. That's a really pretty mare, btw! I don't blame him for feeling bad about having to give her back, even though she was never his..rough stuff!

Do you have a website? I remember landing on one about a mounted police officer, I believe that was you, wasn't it? Jigsaw is awsome (as well as that real life police horse you linked to) and totally adorable! And your pictures are as great as your art

Unless we're both pretentious... in which case... Whatev's, haha. I absolutely love Jig's markings--he looks perfectly fine for a police horse, to me! He (you ) did a great job remodeling the exterior--the whole lot is built really well. Would love to see more screenshots!

Christina@EquusI know right? The picture really doesn't do her justice. My friend makes hell good horses when she puts effort into the details. I believe I have you or Rachel to thank for helping me out with Jig, though. Not sure if either of you remember, but I won't forget it. @emilia Hmm, I don't have any Sims related websites, so it can't have been. Unless you mean in the RP circuit, cause he was a character of mine long before he became a Sim. Either way, you've got me curious, so if you find the sure again, let me know! @margo Hah, in that case, a little pretentiousness never hurt anyone. When I get to my computer again (been stuck on my phone for the last few days over Easter) I'll take some more caps of the lot.
