Thank you :3 The thought behind those stables were that they would be used for mares foaling and ev. sick mares, so that's why I made more isolated stalls for privacy/isolation. Also I just moved all broodmares to the new lot. I'm just now testing the facilities so they actually work

Alright, I've been testing and fiddling with the active stable lot some more, now that I have a bunch of horses there. Altough it's lagging pretty badly - probably because of all the horses being there xp Maybe I should lower the graphics settings a tiny bit, or remove some graphics mods... Anyway, have a picture spam of the ladies in their new home! I took this picture right after transporting the first batch of mares, also the mares that will be bred to the baroque stallions (I was following my breeding plan list when adding the mares, and it's listed after stallions). also yes, that's my saddlebred mare in the middle (the black tobiano). Since my saddlebred stallion is currently on the riding school and not breeding, I thought I would take the chance and make some georgian grande babies~ And yes, that means I'm breeding my friesian stallion which is also on the riding school and shouldn't be bred, meaning I broke the same rule I was just obeying xD I'm going to breed my two friesian mares to him as well (I took Roosje out of the riding school), because I really really want friesian foals <3 Here's Last Breath being gender confused because I just now discovered I had accidentally made her a stallion and not a mare. Whoops. But thanks to MC the crisis was averted. But let's get down to the testing! I squeeled a little when I saw the horses could enter my concentrate feed stations Well, sometimes they enter from the wrong direction, but there's not much to do about that I actually used the double gates, but using moveobjects I put the other end of it inside of the little house so it looks like it's only one gate (you can see this in a screenshot further down) But I still had to check if they could reach and lick the salt stones (because there's no actual concentrate feed). Unfortunately the girls was apparently just done investigating the rest hall and moved to the next curiosity - which happened to be these stations. Seriously can't they just like, spread out a little? xD Seriously horses! None of the mares I tried ordering to lick the salt stones could even reach them! Imagine this coupled with a ridiculous lag and you may have a general picture of the frustration I felt when I was just trying to get a horse to lick the freaking salt stones! (Also you can see how I did with the gates in this picture :B) Fiona, thank you! I then went out to fix the hay station. It already planned to place some scattered hay around it for the horses to eat. I had my sim scatter some pieces of the hay, before I realized I could duplicate them if I had the buy debug cheat on (I couldn't find the scattered hay in the buydebug catalogues though... maybe I'm blind xd). Wildflower and Theodora in the rolling area. The rolling area should actually be functional too, because I saw that the new ground paint I used on the rest of the facility is marked as too hard to roll in, which leaves only the sand in the rolling area and the grass outside the only soft enough places to roll in. So theoretically, the rolling area should work good also! I had to move the water troughs out a tiny bit so they could reach them, and aside from clipping and standing too far away the water station also works Here I moved them closer using moveobjects so I at least could have a good picture And that was all of the testing, now for some random pictures of the mares roaming around: Oh, and here's my upgraded rest area, now with straw bedding! I'm also probably going to change the floor right outside of the rest area to something softer and comfier, and I'm also going to build a little exercise area :>

I love that you did this type of stable! I was looking them up online one day out of nowhere and thought them pretty interesting. Very cool.

Thank you :3 I remember reading an article about these stables long ago when I was little and I remember I wanted a stable like that xd Also, just in case someone's interested, here's more info on these "HIT active stables": www.wildhorse.at/english/hitactive.htmI made some things a bit differently, but most of it is made after this entirely :>

Hey again! Remember I was mentioning a new mare in one of the previous posts? Well, I decided to not breed andalusians after all since I already have my lusitanos and they're pretty similar anyway (altough I prefer lusitanos ). Good thing I decided that now before I started import more andalusians, haha Well, I decided to instead go with the Frederiksborg, a fairly rare baroque-ish breed (altough many modern horses are bred to be warmblood-y in type, which I think is a bit sad) from Denmark. Not only that, but I've begun setting up a registry for them too and have already sent in my app! So if all goes well I'll be hosting both the curly and frederiksborg registries :> I'll admit I've felt some guilt for my frederiksborg stallion, Apollo, since he's basically been the only - as far as I know - frederiksborg in this community and not even I really have had any use for him, and I felt I really should have gotten rid of him. But, no more! I'll here present my new frederiksborg mare; Merete! She'll be on the riding school for a while because I really felt like training and eventually compete her. So, Apollo won't actually breed any mares this season, because I haven't planned any else mares to be bred to him. I don't really like the foals he have given me with my baroque mares since they tend to be a little too warmblood in type for my taste xD That and I want to focus on purebred horses from now on. That's also why I tried to make Merete a little heavier in built, so hopefully I can get more baroque-type frederiksborgs. The registry btw will be open to both types of the breed, altough the classical type is prefered. And also, I've got two more new horses in store to show you, okay, I'm just creating the second one, but still. It's the last horses I'll need and then I'm all set to go~

Your mare facilities are so neat! I really like that concept!
And I'm glad Apollo gets a "friend," especially one as pretty as Merete.

Thank you all :3 I've got a couple more pictures, two new stallions among other little things. And speaking of nothing, I've finally taken registration pictures for all the horses that are left to register so I'm soon done and over with that! I feel relieved xp I feel I'm finally starting to get my stable and everything back together and I'm excited that I may soon have it back up and running. Also, if anyone's interested, I posted my breeding plans for next foal season: silverdragonestate.weebly.com/foals.htmlThere may be one little change to the breeding plans because I got a little breeding request, but other than that, these are final. But anyway, I upgraded the mare's lot a bit with an exercise area, or well, some log-thing to jump over And then, I created two new stallions. These will be the final horses I create, at least for this "year". First we have a new Gypsy Vanner stallion called Henry: (woo I painted tack for the first time ) And then I made a new Kathiawari stallion, and his name is Aadesh; Also, guys, I tinkered with my graphics settings a bit last night because I hoped to reduce my lag, I don't know if I succeeded in that, but I did discover that this whole time I've been playing with medium textures and that's why the horse eyes were so ridiculously low-texture. Just look! So sharp and nice and everything Which reminds me, I really need to finish those eyes xD But I'm just going to procrastinate a little bit more, don't feel like doing cc right now Altough I've started building a new pegasus aviary lot, not for my own use, but for a little tutorial I promised Lexi ;> The lot in question will be up for download as well :> Which reminds me of that spanish-style stables I was building like years ago, I probably should finish it too xD *will never get any rest*
