Why hello everyone! It may not come as a big surprise that I really love taking photos in game. Probably more than I actually play it But because I already post a bunch of big picture posts on my stable's website I thought I'd reserve this post for those pictures that didn't quite cut it, some silly bloopers and other funny pictures and some previews of things to come (or things I've been to lazy to make proper posts and pages about on the main site..) So let's begin with when one day in my game I was rounding up all my foals for some growing up (Now that they've become so many, I've taken to force grow everyone up all in one time so I don't have to sit and wait for every last foal). I had moved all foals to my "central" lot and neatly sorted the colts in one small pasture and the fillies in another, when suddenly... No foals what are you doing! D: Come back here! This is what happens when you forget to lock the gates .__. I've also found that whenever I want to have a little gathered event on my "Riding School", such as a simple thing like taking a ride, it takes several sim hours to get everyone up in their saddles, then a few extra minutes dragging up relationship bars when some horses refuse their riders, and some throw them off. Then there goes an additional minutes when they will try to sit up again followed by several more minutes to get sims who demounted during the wait up on their horses again. I ended up spending half a sim day trying to get everyone mounted, for what? Oh, just a one or two hours ride before sims were getting tired and it was nearing past midnight :[ This photo shows two of the new sims I made for the new western stable, neither of which I've put up pictures or information about on the official site. It will come someday Rain is in fact half goat, half quarter horse, in case you didn't know. Here's a preview of my totally insane new stable I built for my oriental horses (while my new sport horses take over their previous stables). I got the idea for this while building on all my other various stables, all being fairly normal stables, and when making stalls and choosing fences, half walls, gates and that I naturally skimmed past the various glass fences, gates and half wall and thought that hey, a glass stable would be really cool. And so I built this TOTALLY DOESN'T MAKE SENSE Here's the courtyard of the glass stable, featuring a fancy fountain. And here's my teke mare, Morning Star, her foal Jezebel and her "adopted" daughter, On Wings Of Grace - I bought her from MSE and couldn't really have her go all alone so I let Star take care of her too. Actually I bought another foal from MSE but I haven't put him into the sim world just yet, I wanted Grace to grow up first And finally, here's a little picture showing the new custom box stalls in the main stable (where my baroque horses are kept). I made that gate with the magic of moveobjects and two objects; one gate and one door arch.

Lol thank you everyone! I actually had to go and count, turns out I have a total of 51 horses, and that's not counting 4 horses I've sold. In more detail there's 13 baroque horses, 5 (7 including two newly bought foals) from my oriental stable, 4 draft, 2 pony, 6 sport and 7 western. And I'm still planning on getting more lol That's quite a lot I don't have as many funny pictures this time around but I do have a series of pictures from when I tried getting a profile picture of my char, Joana, together with SDE Caspian, Jo's favourite horse and our lusitano stallion. They're on the very top of the "tail" of the silverdragon mountain, which I realized just then was a pretty big mountain

I love your Friesians in the second picture, they're such a graceful breed, even though they're a bit heavier. And Caspian is a truly gorgeous horse, I can totally understand he's your char's favorite horse. Btw, getting your riders on their horses doen't need to take all day. Have you installed Twallan's Relativity? If not, you should totally do it. Then you can click any clock and in the menu set Intervall to 1, and then the time goes really slow.

Love your box stall. Do the horses actually walk under the door arch?!

Hey all! I'm sorry I haven't been active for like, forever, but I'm back :B It's actually not that hard having a bunch of horses since I have all of them on different lots so most of the time I don't really play with them, not directly. I'm even considering expanding the estate a bit, but not by much. I think, at least (I tried editing the pictures in this post a bit, I hope they look okay, lol) Anyway, I sent Joana's and Marthina's adoptive daughter, Kim, and the only other two teen girls in the neighbourhood, the sisters Inez and Sofia (I think that was her name) to Starlight Shores, cause I recently installed Showtime. Kinda neat expansion pack I gotta say I grew them up and let them try out the new careers; Kim as an acrobat (her stage name is "Cobra"), Inez as a singer (her stage name is simply "Inez") and Sofia as a magician (her stage name is "Celeste"). Here they are in their stage outfits; I have more pictures of them, but I'll save them for a bigger post on SDE's site. Anyway, they took three horses with them, so all three girls would have a horse to care for and ride during their trip. Sofia took Gimli, our fjord stallion; Aren't they cute together? :3 Inez had Wallace (of course Inez took the pretty golden pony ) And Kim had Merry-Go-Round, the first and only horse she's ever ridden, so far And here's one picture of Merry in the little pasture I managed to squeeze in on their tiny lot. After a while I decided to take them back to the Silverdragon Island. They still haven't advanced very far in their careers but I plan to take them on more trips in the future. I actually returned them a little earlier than I had first planned, mostly because I was excited about a new little project, but, more on that in a moment. I took two pretty random pictures on Carona and Paloma, and I probably can't fit them into any post so I'll put them here.. I think they're excited about something. And now onto something, that project. Or rather, a fun little challenge I'm doing because why not :B As the story goes, the amandaria unicorn is a native unicorn breed of the Silverdragon Island, it's a seperate specie of equine like the donkey and zebra, and a cross between an amandaria unicorn and a horse (or a donkey/zebra) would be sterile much like mules/zorses/zonkeys. Since the humans came to the island long ago, the amandaria has unfortunately gone endangered, and in an effort of saving them, Joana and Marthina decided to make a breeding program to preserve them. I made this as a fun challenge for myself. The goal is to try and breed the amandaria unicorns with only a few foundation unicorns, with as little inbreeding as possible. I'm going to put up a few pages about this on my site soon :> Also, here's a clear view of one of the unicorns: I had fun with their designs I tried to create something a bit different from the usual white unicorn, and aside from the funky colors and patterns, I tried to give them somewhat of a deer-like appearance.

Hey again! And thanks, I was pretty satisfied with those unicorns myself :B For anyone who hasn't checked my blog I put up a little story-of-sorts with the unicorns here: silverdragonestate.weebly.com/1/post/2012/04/the-sanctuary.html, and I put up pages with information, descriptions and pictures on the "Amandaria Sanctuary" page. This page also has some subpages with a registry (private for now) and pages with info on the herds and the unicorns in them :3 Anyway, I haven't had time to really play Sims since I'm rushing to get all registration/sales/new profiles done. But I've been doing some things. I've finally rebuilt the pasture-area on the main estate lot and I've also created a couple new horses... But first, I'd like to show a little picture of two foals I bought; MSE's Audience of One and CDC Ruby Blue. I bought another foal too recently, a fjord filly, I'll have pictures of her too soon! I forgot to lock the gates again, and these two of course took that opportunity to roam all over the place I experimented with changing the gates to one of the new ones that came with Showtime. A little more baroque-esque, just wish I had a better matching fence/half-wall to go along it. Here's how the main estate lot looks now after I rebuilt the pasture area. Before there were two big pastures here, but now there's one outdoor riding arena, one smaller pasture for the stallions and one bigger for the mares. I also tried out palms to give it more of a spanish feel. After I made my marking pack I decided Apollo was in need of a marking-revamp. So here's how he looks now. I took out Caspian and Apollo together in the new outdoor arena for some photo shooting. Here they're a bit suspicious at each other Apollo tried to strike up a fight with Caspian, but he just looked offended. Then Marthina and Joana decided to go to the beach with the two big boys. I took a bunch of photos of them, and this is just one of them. I want to make a post on SDE's site with the pictures, but in the meantime I've put up a bunch of the photos from both the beach and the outdoor arena in Caspian's and Apollo's albums (on their pages). Next I'm going to show some previews of a few horses I created in CAS and are new additions to SDE. I've decided to keep focus on a few certain breeds and as such I've been needing to get a few more horses. There's some entirely new breeds I want to introduce to the estate, and then there's some breeds of which I've only have one horse of and need a breeding partner for. First, in my draft section I decided to drop Shires (altough I will keep my shire stallion until I need space for new horses) and get a couple of percherons. Here's two percheron butts for your viewing pleasure. Charles is the name of the grey stallion, and Theodora is the black mare. Next, some people may have seen my ad searching for baroque mares (I'm still searching for some, so if you have one, message me!) for a zorse and mule (and possibly also part-unicorn) program. I'm sort of weak for mules and zorses, I mean they're adorable and cool and everything! (Okay, I have a weakness for pretty much all things equine, but still ) I sat down and created a zebra stallion and a mammoth jack. I used some downloaded (probably those from MTS) but edited them a lot. Here they are! I named the zebra Zuberi, and the donkey Hero of War. And lastly I'm going to present a stallion I'm very excited about, namely... Siglavy Linnea! I'll just end my post here :>
