1735 was the year when the Silverdragon Estate was first built. Since then baroque horses has been bred and trained here, and the estate has been passed down through many generations.
Jason Silverdragon was born year 1973 on the estate and inherited it from his father. He married a woman named Mariah, and together they had a daughter of their own - Joana Silverdragon. The estate thrived as always for many years, but sadly Jason and Mariah's marriage didn't and they divorced. Mariah moved back to Bridgeport were she originally came from, and Joana lived with her in the weekends, and during the weeks on the estate, were she lived a life many horse-crazy girls dreamed of.
But this dream life would take a sudden end when in 2002 a terrible accident happened. Jason was taking out their rather rowdy but beautiful lusitano stallion, SDE Caspian, for obedient training when the stallion started act up and threw his rider off. Jason would have been fine, had he not tangled himself in the reins in the fall and pulled them so that Caspian, in panic, trampled his rider.
It was truly a tragic accident. And with Jason gone, there was only Joana left on the estate, and she was too young. So she had to move and live permanently with her mother in Bridgeport, and her inheritence would be given to her once she became an adult. But as Joana grew up in Bridgeport, she surpressed her past, swearing never to go back to the estate which she loathed more and more. She who once used to be crazy in horses, started to dislike them as well, but she absolutely hated the stallion who had killed her father, Caspian, now hired out to a stud farm until Joana became an adult - as he was part of her inheritence.
When so the day came and Joana formally inherited the estate and the stallion, Caspian, she didn't know what to do with it all. As much as she loathed it all, she didn't have the heart to just get rid of it. So she kept putting it up, not wanting to deal with it. But one day on her way home, she walked by a rider on her horse and the memories she had for so long surpressed began to slowly come up again. The next day, Joana passed by the local riding school, and seeing all those horses made her instantly miss them. So she slowly started coming in contact with horses again as she took riding lessons and worked on the riding school. She there met Marthina who was very fond of baroque horses, especially andalusians and lusitanos, and sharing a common interest, Joana and Marthina became close friends and eventually girlfriends. Marthina was for a long time though oblivious to Joanas heritage and the fact that she owned a whole stud farm and estate and a top class lusitano stallion - and Joana deliberately kept it secret for everyone she knew.
But about a year later, the stud farm that had hired Caspian decided they could no longer keep him and suddenly Joana had to make the tough decision. She still couldn't bear to sell the horse so she decided to keep him, and managed to convince the riding school to house him. The new lusitano stallion generated a lot of excitement among the riding school staff and students and the day he arrived, a large crowd was gathered on the courtyard.
Joana found it very hard to see the same horse she blamed for her father's death, even harder to be forced to now take care for him daily. She did found a way to minimize her own involvement with the horse though; she let Marthina help her with him almost as though they both owned him together. Eventually, Joana started to confess her feelings and history with the horse, and how her father had died, and eventually, she started to slowly deal with her painful past - and present. Marthina would repeatedly tell Joana it wasn't Caspian's fault, but it would take quite some time before Joana finally started to let go of her dislike and blame of the stallion.
The stallion was very ill-tempered when he arrived though, as he had lived a very isolated life with a little too strict people on the stud farm. The two young women devoted much of their time just trying to make him behave, it was Joana though who as the days passed grew less hateful and more and more fond of the stallion, and she began spending almost her whole days just talking with, grooming and petting him, and he became calmer and friendlier.
Joana and Caspian eventually grew very close together, and a half year later the stallion was often mistaken for a gelding as calm and sweet as he was. But at this point, Joana started to long back to her childhood home, and one day she told Marthina the whole story about the estate. As Marthina had absolutely no objections, rather the opposite, the pair decided to move together to the Silverdragon Estate and revive it to it's former glory.
