Walden, I moved the step Also, I'd like to point out that the Photoshop link is a link to the FREE VERSION OF PHOTOSHOP...so anybody *should* be able to use it. The tutorial was written for Photoshop, but yes you can use Gimp, Photoshop Elements or any other software that will open up PSD files. When opening the file in GIMP it deletes the text layer ..though i do have photoshop.. i was just curious about gimp (use to use it all the time)

I think you could always just create a new text layer, and rotate the text.

I get this error smartexceptionscore.unhandledexception @ 7421, offset:655 and I cannot see the halter and I cannot edit the texture part When does this error occur? Everytime I open the file to edit the halter in TSRW

Try downloading the sims3pack from Equus-Sims. Open TSRW and follow steps 1-3. When the window opens after you click Browse, set the filter to sims3pack and hunt down the sims3pack you downloaded from Equus-Sims. Be sure its the nameplated halter, not the plain one. If it opens normally, just continue on with the steps in the tutorial.

Awesome, Christina!!! Thanks! Do you think you could also make the same idiot-proof tutorial with Gimp instead of Photoshop?
Thanks.

Awesome, Christina!!! Thanks! Do you think you could also make the same idiot-proof tutorial with Gimp instead of Photoshop? Thanks. It is almost EXACTLY the same same steps. Gimp does open up PSDs. You just have to create text and rotate it and put it where it needs to go. (Only difference)
