Today was an intense training day at CBE. Tori had our three biggest competitors out in the rings, training hard for some upcoming shows. First we had CBE Taking the World By Storm out, who only recently began competing in shows. So far he has taken a real liking to show jumping, he's already added several first place ribbons from Advanced Show Jumping to our stable. Annadale also took out CBE Hey There Delilah to practice her Cross-Country skills. She did magnificently, of course, and we couldn't be happier with her progress. She's really come a long way in just a few short years of training. And finally Dave spent a little time with CBE Ringmaster, who is currently finishing up his last year at the Training Barn before he retires to Stud. He has a had a magnificent career, earning gold in Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross-Country. We can't wait to see what kind of foals he produces. But until then we still enjoy his boundless energy and expert jumping skills!

In preparation of CBE Ringmaster's move to the Stallion Barn we have been working very hard on improving his skills. He's already a fantastic show jumper but we want to take advantage of this last week with him in the Main Barn and do everything we can to make him the best jumper possible. He has been an absolute joy to work with and I know Annadale will be sad to see his go, but we are all looking forward to the fantastic foals he's likely to produce. So here are some pics documenting the past week or so at the Center... CBE Ringmaster showing off his superb jumping skills with Annadale! This guy has got some real power, he can clear just about anything you put in front of him. Another pic of Ringmaster showing off his skills! CBE Golden Flint aka My Baby! I mean come on, how could you not love this guy?! He is such a pro! This time he's showing off his great movement! CBE Shutterfly, an up and coming star at CBE who can jump like crazy! He's also fantastic in the Dressage Ring... CBE Taking The World By Storm, a stunning stallion with tons of potential. This guy has a passion for show jumping, but he's still up for a little cross-county action every once and a while. And how could I forget our super star mare, CBE Hey There Delilah, who is also nearing the end of her showing career. Love this girl! Have I mentioned that she's a fantastic jumper?

So July has already seen some changes to CBE! We have acquired two new Hanoverian's. The first of our new additions is a foundation mare that we purchased from Niki over at Dark Horse Stables. Her name is DHS Goddess of Wisdom and she is quite stunning. This pretty girl doesn't have a single white hair on her, but that doesn't stop her from standing out! She's got a great personality and she loves to run. Athena, as she is known around the barn, has already completed most of her training but we will be keeping her in the Main Barn for a little while yet. We want to get to know her better before we send her to join our other broodmares. Our second new addition is CBE Caletto. Caletto was purchased from a breeder in the UK for quite a bit of money, and we are hoping that it all pays off. He is a fantastic stallion who is just brimming with confidence. He has already caught on to the basics of jumping without much training and from just watching his race around the pasture, we can tell he's got great speed as well. We can't wait to see how he does as his training grows more intense!

The Cherry Blossom Equestrian Center is ready to present its July Foal Crop. This time around we are offering two foals for sale, one filly and one colt. This filly is the first foal out of our stunning stallion CBE Ringmaster and the colt is out of the accomplished stud, CBE Golden Flint. To learn more about these foals and how to apply go here: cherrybequ.blogspot.com/p/foals.htmlCBE Chasing Comets is a striking colt, with unique facial markings and tons of athletic ability. Chase can always be seen racing around the pasture at top speed, jumping anything and anyone is his way. We know that he will succeed in any discipline he tries his hand at. CBE Easter Sunday is a stunning little filly. She is our first foal out of the handsome stallion, CBE Ringmaster. She has turned out wonderfully, with her fathers great conformation and her mothers gentle temperament. We suspect that she has also inherited her fathers athleticism, judging from her playful pasture antics and the speed she shows as she races with the other foals.
