Okay well first of all, though I am glad we finally have a new system. I am seriously not digging the 10 horse thing and I will most likely not have time to earn more tokens or whatever between going to College and trying to advance in Karate. If I wanted to play a game where I had to buy stuff like this, I would not have bought sims 3. It's a one time pay and that is the way I like it. Next thing you know we will have to pay real money for the site. No offense but I love that we have the option to donate, but I don't want it to turn into a site that requires money versus a loving gift given.
I think we should be able to vote on the horse token thing, the beautiful thing about the sims pets is we can basically have as many horses as we want. I think that when it comes to the horse thing that we should have as many as we choose, or at the bare minimum make it a lot easier for us to earn more tokens.
Before this system was started, I still have over 10 horses who need to be registered. I'm sorry if this puts a damper on things I really am happy things seem to be working other then this. We need a better solution to allow more horses for everyone.
I feel like we are getting punished on registration when we have been waiting all this time to get our horses registered. I probably have at least 20 unregistered horses if not more.

Katie Karan, as far as I know, ES has never been a pay site and never will be. Christina takes pride in the face that ES members provide their creations and knowledge for free within the community, and I doubt she'd ever ask money from you for you to do so!
There is a huge discussion of the new Active Member Rewards system on the new forum. We're always taking suggestions on more ways to earn tickets, because we understand that our members are busybusy with school and life! We're not trying to be cruel, but we're trying to raise the quality of your horses within the community.
Upon your initial joining, we cannot allow members to register more than ten horses. As Gemma put it, it'd be like too many cars on the road. It'd clog everything up and the whole site would slow down!
You can still have however many horses you want. Horse tokens are just for horses that you want listed on the main site (and only these horses can be registered with the new associations). So far we're suggesting you choose your best/top competitors, or your best/top broodmares and studs.
If you've already been approved on the new site and forum, please post your thoughts and opinions there. :3

But the horse token thing seriously resembles other sites that do the same thing. Except for the fact they require money, I am not the best competitor on this site either so it makes it difficult.
Every horse at least from my end has quality in some discipline, the main focus as been for breeding and halter. I have been here about 2 years now and it just seems a little not so fun. I have 17 horses who need to be registered which is close to my estimate of 20 and I have two choices either I get rid of many of my horses to accommodate this new rule. Or to just simply not register any horses until this whole thing can be a little easier or rearranged for simplicity.
I just feel like this game isn't as fun, there's too many breeders and I have bought and bred more quality horses to compete. But it now seems like it was pointless and silly not fun like it used to be. I was one of the very first breeders and I remember how awesome it was to have this site. Now though it feels like what's the point?
Is there any other way to add more horses instead of just 10?

Katie Karan, are you aware that you can earn tickets from posting pictures in your scrapbook? There's also a new type of competing that's equal-opportunity.
You say you have seventeen horses that need to be registered, but nothing needs to be registered. You also don't have to get rid of any of them. You're only limited to registering ten with the main site.
If you feel like this game isn't as fun, no one's forcing you to play, but we'd love for you to give it a chance! We've done our best to try and make things easier on everyone.
Yes! There is a way to add more horses! By earning tickets and cashing them in for horse credits. I promise you, it's not that hard to earn credits and in no time people will be selling their credits for extra in-game cash!

all of this a mute point since I still havent been able to get into the forum. After reluctantly changing my name, despite the fact that I am Quiet Meadows and its Quiet Meadows' Ranch, I am not able to get into the forum since I haven't been approved. I was instructed to register using First Last as my name since admin changed my main site name with out letting me know. I did this and as stated above used my sim's name "Cheyenne Cavender" (again, not happy about this).Since I have done everything asked of ME can I please change my name for the forum and be allowed to participate?

Quiet Meadows, your display name on the site is now " Cheyenne Cavender". Go ahead and re-register on the forum with that name and I'll approve you as soon as I see you on there!

No that was one I have not heard of, that's one good thing I post a good deal. Bu I hear there was a lot of tickets needed to get more horses registered. What about our horses that are currently already registered they do not show up on the Arabian Horse Association? Shouldn't horses who were approved before automatically get added as well.
I sent in my registration for the new site hopefully it didn't get deleted.
Actually it kind of does, there would be no point in participating in shows and most people want registered horses to compete with.
I don't know really it doesn't feel any easier just means more horses to sell. I hope it will be in the future and I really want to see this be successful
I really hope so I just don't have the time to mess around with a bunch of stuff. With in game cash does that mean that's the only way you can download cc property or stuff like that?
p.s. will not be re-registering horses already registered....

Since the breed associations are new and have different people running them, we're having horses start new. Perhaps there are harsher or more lenient breed standards now, and more or less horses are available for being registered.
No. CC is free. In-game cash is for show entry fees, opening stables, and buying horses -- things like that!

But I refuse to re-register as there are such little convenience to do so. My horses who have been registered, are quality this system or the last. This is something I will not negotiate on under the present circumstances. Good I'm glad that would be a bummer, thank goodness I already have a stable. I am already going to sell several horses unregistered to accommodate this but all the rest of this is unreasonable. Asking me to re-register 20 horses is like asking me to pull out my own wisdom teeth with no anesthetic. It was a pain before and it will be again and definitely not worth it.

Katie Karan, my name is Eris. If you don't find it worth it, don't do it. We're not forcing you to join the new Equus-Sims.
Quiet Meadows Ranch, you've been approved, finally! Can't wait to see you over there~! :3

Eris I was talking about Erin Ward who runs CDC okay? Don't be touchy this is not about you in anyway it's not your fault. This is a joint system with a bunch of people in it.

Katie, you are not being forced to join. The new registration is as simple as choosing your horse from a dropdown list and copying in an image url.

For reference, the following are ways to earn tickets and evidently ways to earn horse credits and even money.
