Christina@EquusWoah that was fast! Haha thank you c: gosh I really appreciate every comment I get ♥ My sims were a bit of an experiment, I ended up with Valerija after two generations (Grandparents & Parents), her friends I had to make for her - I wasn't too keen on the pre-made Twinbrook neighbourhood kids, plus because she has a couple of cousins, she would keep going to school and socialise with them rather than anyone else, so I had to be a bit more active in encouraging her to... widen her field of friends XD (Even her grandpa would call her during the day to talk, sweet but - she didn't seem to know anyone but her family.) LOL..well my favorite one is the girl with the short hair and quirky glasses super geek chic!

As I said in an earlier post, I have been working away on sets and locations for use in my story. At last I have taken screen-shots of at least one of the locations which will likely be heavily featured; Buckthorn Ridge. I constructed Buckthorn Ridge on a smaller, 40x40 lot - it serves as a private equestrian boarding facility which is maintained by those who use it. So, without further ado, here are some pictures c: Astro, otherwise known as Astronomy Cat, taking a nap. Pose courtesy of Kaleeko ~ Lin Zhāng lunging her horse, Ronny, who also goes by the name Roman Numerals. Ignore the fact that Lin's not wearing gloves, she has the magical ability to withstand rope-burn. I created both of their poses c: I'm very pleased with the outcome; this was my first true go at building an equestrian facility - I've built stable blocks before, but around pre-built home lots so I don't think that really counts XD I constructed the facility in place of the 'Ancient Modernity' lot located in Twinbrook, out near Willowglen Ampitheatre - I didn't like the home and it was never populated whilst I played the game, so I thought I might as well replace it. I think it's a pretty nice area for an equestrian facility too, with access to large expanses of land for hacking out on and possibly to set up some more complex jump courses which can't fit in the facility's arena. (Hmm... ideas may be brewing...) If you're curious, I was able to fit the following onto the lot: - Four stalls.
- Two grazing paddocks, one smaller paddock with shelter.
- One arena, unsuitable for heavy jumping work.
- One round pen.
- Tack room.
- Feed room.
- Two toilet/locker rooms for males and females.
- One small office for use by the facility's owner.
- Two car spaces.

Thank you so much you guys! At the moment I'm creating a few other lots, I have one finished already which I'll take images of along with the interior of Buckthorn Ridge, which I seem to have neglected taking screen-shots of entirely. I have also been reworking my story completely (if only you guys knew how often I do this - I jump into things so early and then my mind thinks up alternative things to write! No matter, it's starting to take a much clearer shape.) But I can bombard you with my sim and horse character creations instead until I can truly settle down and properly introduce you all to my story - which is a lot broader and quite different to the description I gave you in my first post. @walden: I adore your enthusiasm! Thank you so much ♥ @ann & Erin@Equus: Oh my gosh you don't know how much that means to me - that sort of lived in/used atmosphere is really what I was going for! I wanted it to fulfil its purpose - a well loved facility which is taken care of by people who look out for each other. (Wow I can get quite poetic can't I?) Summer Aragorn: Much appreciated c: I'm trying with the editing really - it annoys me sometimes that certain actions do not seem to like screen-shots from The Sims 3! @lidija: *squue* you really think so? Kaleeko@Equus: I never thought I'd find myself at a loss for words other than "thank you"; this goes to everyone - I never really expected this many lovely comments from you all! I must leave some lovely comments of my own c: @marie & @trinity: Woah I have deserved a label of talent and inspired jelousy? Seriously you guys! I am blushing behind the screen ♥ @alicia: I just love roans ♥ I found it quite hard to get a realistic looking one in game and the action I used on these images sort of made him come out a bit more red than he is, but whatever - I just love that we can make nice roan coats with PharaohHound's markings c: Ok, ok I'll stop here. I just have to reply to every comment, it's this thing that I have! I do a lot more looking than I do talking on forums, but I'm working on the talking slowly but surely. Keep your eyes open for future updates c:

(Update) 30/7/12 - New plumbob versions included. (End Update)I move around a lot from project to project, it can be a virtue as well as a vice. Just today I made a number of logos for the Hunter/Jumper Club Logo Challenge - which you should all really check out, they could use more entries! I was thinking maybe, at some point, I might take requests to make some? I'm not sure where I would host the thread though. Anyways, here were the six variants I made for HJC c: This is what I have managed to whip up so far; there are six variants which include the same centrepiece. The horse and rider I have drawn myself, whilst using one of my own photographs as a reference, so you won't find the exact image anywhere else! I have so much fun making logos, seriously, it is like a hobby of mine.FIRST VARIANTSHere is the basic centrepiece I have created which has been used in all variants, but I also like it by itself. One with and one without the "Est. 2012" text, I just thought it might be a nice inclusion in the design. There probably isn't enough of the hunter green in these, but I really liked them!: Note: if displayed on an off-white background, the words have a white stroke around them c:SECOND VARIANTSNow onto the second batch of variants, these include a basic shield. Once again, there is one with and one without the "Est. 2012" text: THIRD VARIANTSThe third and final batch of variants include more detail on the shield, as well as a drop-shadow, with and without the "Est. 2012" text: *NEW VARIANTS*Plumbob versions ヾ(*⌒ヮ⌒*)ゞ
