Alright so as you guys post these, I'll just be keeping an eye out. When I'm ready to upload them, I will contact the original creators via PM to let them know where their coats will be uploaded on the new site. I see some lovely coats already! I'm going to keep this thread open until the 13th probably, bc that's when I hope to have the new site ready to go. A quick note: For blacks, we are looking for the shading to be prevalent OUTDOORS as well as indoors. The black coat is probably the hardest to accomplish, so you will likely have to go lighter with highlights than you would anticipate in CAP. And remember, dynamic shading!! We cannot use just a solid color as a base, as horses coats have lots of shine and shadows. ^_^ Oh, and I should note that any coats you make MUST be your original work. You cannot use LittleV's or any custom coats as a base for yours. (not saying that anyone has or will, I just want it to be clear ) thank you guys so much!!

Hm...bay roan isn't on the list...but I have a lovely bay roan coat I could share. As well as some blue-blacks as well as brown-blacks and sunbleached blacks....I have a lot of black horses....and duns...see what I can find on my game in the next couple days....but limit my CC use and no extra markings...now that's the challenge!

I was just wondering since blue roan and red roan was listed, but not bay roan (I know it's probably the least popular of the "roans" around here but I still consider it a base roan). And great about additional colors. I have a couple champagnes and creams I can toss in whenever you want to do an extended pack.

ok thanks for your opionion but what do you mean by objective lights and for the shadows do you mean darkers spots? Basically, this coat is just one layer: A orange color. It need more reflections and shadows. A chestnut is not only orange: the muzzle and the eyes are grey (or darker), there is grades of different shadings and there is mucosa markings. No need to use CC to do all of this! Plus, the hooves are this white only when there is leg markings on the foot (otherwise it's a tane yellow/grey)

To be clear: You guys CAN use CC markings (just not facial or leg markings), I just need the links to them or you can provide them with your coat in a .rar or .zip, or whatever other format you can open with Winrar/Winzip. Just in case I wasn't clear in the first post!
