Thank you Ella and Rambo! I recently started keeping and following an editing checklist as recommended in Mandy McAvoy 's 10 Tips for realistic photo editing - here -, as well as finding this awesome DOP tutorial - here -. It has helped my edits immensely, especially as I am out of my element, working with a mouse instead of my usual tablet. Ramiro was my first sim horse and the reason for me originally hosting the andalusian registry back in the day, as well as my plethora of andalusian brands, and is still very much a favored mount of mine! Ramiro during training -

Today is a very exciting day for myself and Day Break Valley. When I first decided to use the Horse Life Generator, I decided to use it whole heart-edly. And it kind of SOL'd me. Wozzie was bred to 4 mares. One didn't take, One passed In-Utero, One was still-born, and the final colt, Foulaz as he was named, passed in his first year. DBV staff and I swallowed, and looked to see if by chance Al Wosret had been bred before, and if any had survived. We lucked out and found one HAA Al Bahie owned by Arland Acres Farm. My heart skipped a beat when Tico graciously allowed us the use of the infamous AAF Aswan to sire a foal by Al Bahie. HAA Al Bahie and AAF Aswan have brought us a a gorgeous young colt named AAF Bahir. We were overjoyed when he arrived today, and even more pleased with HAA Al Wosret's reaction to his grandson. We have very high hopes for this little man who has quite the show career to live up to. AAF Bahir greets his grandpa for the first time. Bahir waiting patiently with Elaine while Quinn retrieves Wozzie from his paddock. He was a bit nervous about the swing behind him while getting a drink from the bucket just out of view, and was sure to keep an eye on it. Exchanging horses, Quinn ask that Elaine hold the aging stallion. Bahir is impatient and greets his grandpa before the two can barely grab hold of the lead. Thankfully Wosret seems to know who this stunning little red guy is, and is gentle as a grandpa should be with him. After greeting Grandpa, Bahir wishes to check out the swing a bit more. Apparently having Grandpa to back him up makes the swing less intimidating. Back in his pasture Grandpa and Bahir had a nice chat, knickering sweet nothings to each other while Quinn and Elaine chatted about their men problems with Cameron and Julian. Wozzie must have called Bahir a punk to tease him and the young hunk pulled Quinn off her feet squealing in delight to chase after the new playmate he had found. And so we have AAF Bahir, the return of a legacy, our up n coming HAA Al Wosret, AKA Wozzie grand get, and a son of AAF Aswan. I am just gushing with adoration for this handsome little fella. Can you tell? :3

@whitestone, Jenny, Home Farm Acres - Thank you! I am very excited to have this little fella. Alain "Echo" Legrand Valley Arabians - Thank you! I would say its more just a story I came up with for his home coming. I use the horse life generator, a mix of versions 1.4 and 2, from Mapal of DeviantART.com. Random.org also helps me to roll random percentages and decide out come. As you can tell from my unfortunate rolls with Wozzie I try to make everything realistic, and stick to it. It just doesn't always work in my favor, lol.

Quinn! Those pictures are adorable! I'm sorry to hear about Wozzie's bad luck as a sire, but what a perfect little legacy Bahir is! <333

hehe Thank you Erin! Luck wasn't on his or our side that time, but we are okay with the way things worked out. I decided to use the HLG, and I am happy I stuck with it. It gave me some bad luck my first roll. January is a good month though it seems, so I will continue to stick with it and see where it takes us. Hopefully it will make for more regular updates on my site too, lol.

I have been working on editing some pics for Bahir's first show entry while I pose a my very first ever Hanoverian baby's introduction. I am so excited to introduce little Aeryn. Anyways... I was editing show pics. I have been out of the circuit for a month or so and want to have a 'branded' look to my images. The first images style will be more of the introductory image of the horse with 'Day Break Valley proudly presents...' These are the two I have come up with - -or- The subsequent entry images would be a more subdued, name reminder with my logo like this - Any thoughts?

I think I like the last one the most! It has your logo and his name but its not as "in your face" as the others.
