I didn't want him in front of a black background totally, i wanted a glow around him, for a kind of ethereal quality. and it really wasnt hard just burning the background then adding some dodge to it. Your picture is stunning too though, just a different style

1. Amazing editing! I love the lighting affects, very dramatic.
2. Gackt is a very impressive and imposing new owner, who reminds me nothing of the musician. *wink* ♥
3. That foundation SEA and 2nd gen SEA foal are stunning. Your black arabs always catch me drooling. >>'

Its really all just alot of practice, having good brushes to work with and most importantly a good picture to work with. Clear where the lighting comes from. and trial and error, for everything you see edited i can guarantee I erased and undid at least 20 times. Shading is the biggest thing, and low opacity smudge on the mane and tail to give it a softer look and to blend in the highlights and shades (most of my tails and manes have at least 10 colors in them) but blended they look shiny, but knowing where your light source is a HUGE factor, because it tells you what to shade and what to highlight where. I guess sometime soon on my next edit I can open up a join me. or PM me sometime i can add a screenshare over skype.

That would be great! I really want to learn how to shade good, but no one has had the time to teach me.

I had to share this, I started working on this sim the day sims 3 came out. Every time I open the sims I work on him, FINALLY after 3 years I am happy with the results, presenting my best sim ever. (the only editing done in this pic, is a bit of shine on his hair, the eye shine, slight blurring of background, and a very very lightly applied soft glow.) and with his buddy JTB Iregi Wahid Leaning on his Ferarri Love and Horses
