Here are my little Arabian babies! The *cough* Breeding Manager over at our Snow Hawk Stables went a little nuts buying a bunch of foals last year. I realized I hadn't posted any pics of the cuties on here yet. And can you believe I don't have a single colt. Yes, they are ALL fillies. I trust our breeder/handler but I dunno if that was the most thought out plan.. Their profiles are here nharabians.weebly.com/our-foals.html . These pictures were taken a few months ago so now they are actually in that gawky yearling stage. They are still super adorable though! I snuck up on Dancer and Stormy having a nap by the tree. As I was sneaking away I turned around to get a group photo. Precious, the mamma bear of the group, is watching over everyone in back. And.. so much for peace and quiet.. Lucky made a beeline straight at Lovey Dovey who was just romping around. "Opps! Did I "accidentally" run into you?.."Lovey didn't appreciate Luckie's rough playing so she turned to go after the little scamp. Stormy must have gotten nervous, though of course Dancer's there...Oh, and there goes Precious to get her "mini-herd" in order. (that baby cracks me up xD ) She kind of just ran around everyone a couple times till they followed her. No nipping this time! Well, bossy little momma got them settled down again. [Name key for anyone interested since we go by barn name usually. Stormy- AMEC/SNW Stormy Nights, Dancer= EH Just Dance, Lucky= UAS/SNW Basma, Precious= BUS Bright Starlet, Lovey Dovey= EOR/SNW Be My Valentine] I almost forgot to add- this is the dog over at Snow Hawk. She's an adopted stray. They named her Gingersnaps. She's such a sweetie! There's another one over at the mare barn but I forgot to a pic. I'll try to get it next time.

Manon, thank you! Pernille, thanks! Sarah, yeah he's such a cutie Alexander, Yes she did. She was just a stray dog that wandered by in-game, I didn't change anything. EA did a good job for once! Arland, I forgot to bookmark it but I think it was Thesimsresource.com . I downloaded a bunch of foliage from there. (tbh, some of what i dl'd from there was bad cc, the flowers were okay though.) BUS, She's an adorable little lady. ^.^

Things have been really busy over at Snow Hawk Stables, (the Arabian division), lately. Our fillies are all yearlings now, Monte is now officially starting training as he's a 3 year old (woot!) and we have our eyes on a couple of broodmares, one that is already in foal, to add to our stable. Our foals start training at three years old and are not put under saddle until they are at least four years old. Our mare Soft Steps is starting her broodmare career and is in foal to a grey stallion named Valhalla Wolfsbane. (No profile up yet.) The foal should be here before December. I am currently revamping our website over there, so sorry if it looks weird or is down in the next week. The old version of weebly doesn't let you choose if you want a header or not and I was sick of working around it. Unfortunately I had a custom template so now I have to re-upload all the banners again. In October Acres news I'm considering breeding Affie but haven't decided yet. The foal would likely be up for adoption if I did. On the Friesian side of things Bitter Banshee is in foal to Firestarter of Autumn! OOC/ I was really excited when Shelter Cove came out last week or whenever that was but after playing in it the grass texture started to realllly bother me, on my computer I swear it looks more like a pattern than a texture. (I'm sure it's just me but it was driving me crazy.) Also, I didn't like my venues being on brown grass which a lot of the lots are, so I've been spending all my time this last week making new venues and terrain painting all the lots. Today I decided it wasn't worth it so I'm going to move my Arabian save yet again. They've already moved twice now while I've been trying to find something different from the world October Acres is in and that I still like. So I'm going to try Chestershire now. I still have to bring over all the lots I made since I'm not giving those up after all of that work. I think I'll like it much better but that's even more time spent on not-playing. So.. >:/ face for all of that wasted time! I've been busy in real life too. I'm remaking my bunny cage and that requires.. physical labor.. lol, sanding and measuring and buying stuff. While I'm doing that I figured I would fix up a few other things around the house too so that means more buying things, building, and power tools, mwuahaha. And since I owe you guys pictures here is the stray kitten we took in. She is already so much bigger and yes, we are keeping her! We're calling her MinPin. xD Which comes from calling her Mini half the time plus she looks a bit Oriental in the face. (We already have the nicknames 'little man' and 'little girl' I didn't want one actually named after their size for real lol) I was sitting on the bed, looking at how cute Minpin and Captain Bruce were being when I noticed a lump under the covers. Sure enough, Mr. B (aka Bimbles), is sleeping under the blankets so I pulled them back and incurred a glare so I could take a picture. I just love her smile in this one! Here is the rest of the herd for you too lol. Cos who doesn't like looking at pictures of cats? I told my boyfriend yesterday that if it wasn't for him I'd really be that 'weird cat lady.' Captain Bruce the teenager: Mr. B who loves sleeping under covers and on freshly cleaned laundry Someone took the drain out of the shower.. Ya don't say.. We've been here the whole time. We swears it. Little Girl the oversensitive one who sleeps in my lap and that's the kitty gang! bunnies next time I don't have sims pics maybe? ^.^

thank you guys! This is an October Acres update on Friesians. So they finally arrived at the stables. Due to some inclimate weather problems they got here later than expected but in all fairness the timing was perfect since we just wrapped up our barn remodel. We also have our breeding program open for our Friesians! It has taken off to an amazing start as our first breeding partner is Iron Shadow Farms. We have just completed a successful artificial insemination of their beautiful mare, Medusa's Wrath with our stallion Firestarter of Autumn. We are so excited for their first foal! AND both of them are entered in the Little Late Dressage Show so go cheer on and show some love to Friesians while you're there! Here are our two new horses. First up we have Calvary Bromance Cavalry is on the left, he's a bit more burnished than Firestarter, on the right, and a tad bit taller. Here he is running circles around Firestarter This lovely mare is Sweatpea Symphony. She is the youngest of our Friesians at 6 years old. This barn style is the official stable facility of Fennec Estates. All three of our divisions will be using this facility layout going forward. Each barn will be customized to that stables colors, ect.. Each barn has 8 stalls, two large pastures, two round paddocks for training excercises and three smaller outdoor paddocks/pastures. There is also a small three bedroom house for the caretakers. The Friesian division's colors are brown, bronze, gold, autumn colors with a rustic feel. (I don't have pics of the other two yet, same layout, different customization, should have those up this week sometime.)
