Finally got a script working for mare pregnancy progression! It works with Heather's broodmare belly slider, so you MUST have that installed for this to work. Features: Automatically makes the mare's belly get bigger as the pregnancy progresses by increasing the Broodmare Belly Slider. Automatically removes the pregnant belly when the foal is born. Automatically prevents the foal from inheriting the broodmare belly slider. The only glitch I'm aware of is that the mare's belly will return to normal while she's still in labor, when you're asked to name the foal but before it actually appears. Considering the foal just appears in a sparkle of light, there's not a whole lot of realism to the process anyway! It should be okay to install if you have pregnancies in progress. Please let me know of any problems you find! Attachments:

This mod sounds great But does it cause any problems with this mod: Lenght of Pregnancy? I have the Superlong Version in my game, so my mares are pregnant for 17 days (3weeks).

Heather, I found out that the belly width slider/broodmare slider thing do conflict on stallions as well. If you adjust the belly width slider on a stallion, instead it now makes him look pregnant! I had giggle fits. My poor stud didn't look real happy with me though. And Cmar, love the script!!! Can't wait to try it out ^.^

There shouldn't be any conflict - the mod reads the number of days of pet pregnancy from the game data, which presumably is adjusted by the preg-length mod. Let me know if you see any problems! Is it custom - I don't see 'Belly Width' in my my game? If so, could you link me?

Cmar first off, thank you so much for scripting this! You've made a lot of people happy on this forum lol.
Also just had a question - if I update my slider, with the script still work?

Again, this was educational and fun to do. As long as the FBLN Instance ID stays the same, updates to your slider should work with the script fine. I'm wondering if the problem with PharohHound's belly slider is a 'too many sliders' issue - when Pets came out I looked at the code for a limit and didn't find anything, but who knows. Existing slider core mods wouldn't help; the Pets sliders are handled separately. I'll be looking into it.

Christina had mentioned Twallan's MC general slider hack doesn't work with pet sliders, but AwesomeMod does. She had asked how my pet sliders were multiplied. I seem to be one of the only ones here who is a fan of AM, but now it makes sense why MC doesn't increase the pet sliders. I recently redid my AM config file to decrease the slider hack because it was just too extreme at 5x for pets (now playing at 2x).

Something to look at for the next version of my own core mod.

I updated the slider to give the belly a rounder appearance. Please redownload! If you have already downloaded cmar's mod, it should continue to work with the updated slider. Be sure to clear your cache after downloading. To clear your cahce:1.Go to My documents --> Electronic Arts --> The Sims 3 2. Find five files named: socialCache, simCompositorCache, scriptCache, compositorCache, & CASPartCache. 3. Delete these five files (don't worry it's ok! I was a little nervous the first time I did it but nothing bad will happen, promise!) 4. You're good to go! It's a good idea to clear your cache every now and again anyway, so hopefully this was helpful to you

Looks wonderful, and the script works great. I've currently got 4 pregnant mares, two AQH and two Spanish Mustangs sporting their baby bellies. Click the link below to see how the new slider looks on them! tamwoodacres.weebly.com/broodmares.html

I'm not entirely sure what's happened, but somehow a few of my stallions have broodie-bellies o.o The ones with this problem are downloaded.. I just don't understand how they're like that. They even have the sway-back. Murr.

Hmmm, I'm not quite sure what would cause that, but I'm going to upload an updated version that *might* fix that issue. It will fix the issue of it conflicting with the belly width slider though. Yay cmar for helping me with that!
