Liam had another lesson today. Memorial was nice and calm, he's gotten use to his new pasture mates and is very well tempered. I gave Liam some independence, and he went and got the pony out of the pasture and tied him all by himself. He also groomed Memorial and I just helped him cinch up his saddle. Liam is a bit too big for Memorial, but the pony didn't seem to mind. He was let off the lead and rode around by himself for the first time. After the lesson, I jumped on Char and we went for a ride around the farm.

While Blair was busy with Liam's lesson, Samara got their new horse North, and decided to try her out. Her previous owner had nothing but good things to say about her, so Samara wasn't worried. Standing patiently to be brushed and saddled Trottin' Around! Going over some poles, North has a nice spring in her step! Should we attempt a jump? Will she go over? Let's try! Yipeee! No problemo! North is going to make an excellent lesson horse!

I trailered some of the lesson horses, and some students over to the riding trails in the forest. The horses were pretty excited and loved the new scenery. They were pretty rambunctious at the hitching post. Finally everyone got ready and got their horse's saddle with little help needed. I was so proud! Finally we were off, and enjoyed a lovely day on the trails. Both students and horses enjoyed some time away from the farm.

Yes! She's awesome. She's going to have a great retirement home with us. I've decided I can't maintain two albums, so I will be posting everything in one place, which is in my scrapbook. Click Here
