Name: Ami Cerda Desc: Relatively tall (5ft 10"), has black mussy hair with a fringe that often falls across his face even when riding. When training only wears a t-shirt, helmet, beige jodhpurs (or black in winter) and black boots. Sometimes seen wearing black or brown gloves.
Horse Name: Heston Traits: Ornery, Stubborn, Agile (When he's in a good mood), Fast, Friendly (at times), Unpredictable (ALL the time) Horse Colour: Steel Grey
Name: Lucas Cerda Description: Tan skin, when not riding normally wears a denim gillet, t-shirt and trousers with sturdy boots. Often seen with a camera in hand or his camera bag on his back.
Ami growled slightly at Heston as he was already prancing slightly ears pricked before he even had the saddle on his back. He was trying his hardest to ignore Lucas' gleeful chuckles. He knew that this signified the training session today could be... explosive to say the least. "Lucas get the gate open," he muttered to get himself a break as he got the bridle on, fastening the flash to keep Heston's mouth shut instead of evading the bit and swung himself up in the saddle.
Heston gave a half rear in protest before prancing forward tail swishing head held high looking more like a giraffe then a horse. Ami shook his head slightly. Yep fun. Today was going to be fun. "Oi, idiot," he grumbled as he took a few pulls on the rein to stop him trotting, walking him around the arena. Well that was the plan anyway. Heston had other ideas as they passed a bush for the fifth time when surprise upon surprise he took off with bucks as it 'moved'. Ami growled more to himself in response to that sitting deep into the saddle and yanking his head back up focusing on getting him back into walk. "Silly boy," he scolded him affectionately almost. He was that used to this behaviour it almost...amused him. Slowly Heston settled to a walk, pulling the same stunt as he went into trot.
This time however he swerved as he galloped on heading straight for a low jump set as a cross spinning last second to kick out at it. Ami growled pulling him round before the kick could land. "We are trotting," he growled out to him pulling him back into trot and away from the jumps, for now anyway. He knew it wasn't his riding position for blame this time, he'd been very consientious with checking that before mounting that he wasn't using Jonas length stirrups for Heston, careful to keep his seat deep and settled.
Heston pulled his head high again shaking his head and yanking the reins out of Ami's hands taking off once more. Ami shook his head "so you want to go do you? Mmkay, can handle that," he responded adjusting his position once he'd got his reins back. "Lucas! Drop the fences down to poles on the ground," he called getting a grumble from his adopted son of 'daaad! I was just taking some pictures of you'.
None the less once Ami had passed the area of fence Lucas had been leaning on Lucas was quick to dart into the arena to change the jumps from jumps to poles on the ground, having to dart out the way as Heston decided poles on the ground were more fun to attack, watching the crazy leap the young horse did over them as Ami pushed him on instead of letting him stop like he wanted him to. He was used to seeing this from Heston - he did it what, nearly every training session. He was getting better though slowly. Once all the fences were just poles on the ground Lucas resumed his position leaning on the fence watching as Heston started to try and slow, and as Ami slowly let him slow his pace watching him snorting.
Somehow though Ami doubted this would be the last of Hestons explosions.

Horse Name: Wp A La Mode “ Lady ” Traits: Shy, Ornery, Hates Jumping Horse Colour: Black
Name: Erin Cooke Description: Long black curled hair, Most of the times doesn’t wear a helmet when riding but with lady a helmet is much needed, maybe a hockey outfit for extra protection.
Waking up in the morning was just like every other day; Erin heard that Ami and Lucas were down at the arena with their horse Heston, and from what I’ve heard Heston and Lady could be related! I decided to take lady down to the arena, and since it was in walking distance, I gathered up all the tack and put it into my trolley, I placed the trolley near the stall blocks main entrance.
I picked up Ladies halter of the ground, covered in manure, Lady has a habit of grabbing anything hanging on her gate and dragging it through the stall until it’s pretty much dead. I dusted it off and checking for tears! The last thing I need is her getting loose.
I walked into her stall, Yeah! Just as I expected she had cracked the rubber matting on the walls….again. She was lying flat out in her yard, enjoying the sun. I’m smart enough not to startle her but our farm dog has other ideas. Cleo; being a kelpie is hyper active, leaped over the yard fence, Lady leaped to her feet and shied towards the stall, thankfully I got out the way in time. She stood near the gate, nostrils flared, huffing and puffing, tail cocked high in the air. I swear she could leap on the gate if she could.
I stood back for a while, waiting for her to calm down; Poor Cleo was curled up behind my legs with her tails between her legs. Lady walked up to me and put her head on my shoulder. (She was sweet when she wants to be) I lifted the halter, and she lifted her head as high as she could -I’m not having that on – After a fight I had her halter on. I walked her out the stalls were she proceeds to push past me and jog trot sideways.
Oh I forgot to grab a hay net. I tied her to the gate and walked off to grab a hay net. - OH NO! – “Lady” I screamed! Right in front of me was my neatly packed trolley on the ground and stepped on, and lady was pawing at her saddle, now covered in scratch marks. She noticed me and pricked her ears and gave a quiet whinny. Yeah I bet she feels real good about that!
I packed up the trolley and walked Lady to the arena. That was a quick walk. Lady jog trotted the whole way there. Oh and not to mention on the way there, Every bush, flower and rubbish bin was out to get her, nearly getting away from me when she spotted an ice cream truck with its music playing.
We reached the arena. Lady was all up herself when she saw Heston. Being the tart she is.
I went and greeted Ami and Lucas; Lady didn’t want anything to do with them. I tried to tie her up but she pulled back every time I put pressure on her head “Come on you stupid cow” I yelled at her. Lucas laughed!
I gave a Lucas cheeky grin.
“Lady, Please, Not in front of people” She pricked her ears up and took a step forward. Ok, slowly but surely we will get there.
Lady was tied up eating her hay, nearly getting her hood caught in the hay net.
Oh no, Heston was playing up! So Lady thought this was scary, she pulled back and snapped the lead rope and took off towards the road. “Lady!!!” She stopped near some grass and dropped her head. I walked slowly up to her and quickly grabbed her lead rope; she jumped sideways and then reared.
I knew this day was going to be exciting…….
