Part One I knew the move was necessary if I was to really start my own riding facility, I had to get things going soon, too, or I'd lose the chance to "upgrade" My stables. The only horses I had were Legend and Alaska, my two appaloosas, and they were NOT going to like the over-seas trip to Equestria. The land was owned by my grandmother, but seeing as she passed away, I was left with the little island, but there were big-shots, investors who thought that a wave of a 100 dollar bill could get them anything. They wanted the property. Bad, but I couldn't do that to the little island that was my family's, all they wanted it for was tourism, and that was something else I didn't particularly like. So there I was, still in Appaloosa Plains. My flight was tomorrow and I still hadn't packed anything, My two daughters were probably in their rooms packing and talking to friends on their cell phones. Teenagers these days. My husband then walked in the doorway and smiled at me. "You know, I think that you should go get the horses ready, I'll do all the packing, just go spend some time with Alaska" he said to me, and I naturally had to smile, he could be so sweet sometimes. "Okay, but I'll be back soon, to help" I said, kissing him before I walked out of the door, I passed Marcia's room and heard her on the phone, I decided I'd listen in. "I know, Bryan, I don't know why we have to move, it's so stupid, I'll have NO friends there, nor any formal schooling, it's just a stupid farm anyw-" I decided to leave her to her rants at that point, I knew she was upset, but she'd be used to it soon enough. I walked down the stairs to the living room, then out the door. Alaska was in the pasture, grazing peacefully, I knew the move would be stressful for him, but I wasn't going to leave my best friend behind. I clicked to him and his head came up, looking at me with grass hanging from his mouth still "Silly man, come here" I said, laughing at how cute he was. He nickered and trotted over to where I was, nuzzling my stretched out hand. "Hey boy, you ready for our big move?" I asked him, knowing I'd get no answer. I walked alongside the fencing, over to the barn, and he immediately followed, going over to our washing area. I brushed him down for an hour or two and then turned him in for the night, I could see that Legend was already in her stall, so I gave her a rub on the nose as I passed her. I lead Alaska to his stall, sighing as I knew what was to come in the morning. Me loving on Alaska Me telling Alaska goodnight before the big move in the morning. WRITERS NOTE: If you liked it, PLEASE PLEASE tell me if you didnt, tell me what to improve on! I'll try to get pics up ASAP. Thanks!

Part 2 I woke up just as the sun was rising, the clock said 6:30. This was going to be a long day. I stretched and yawned as I looked around the room. My body finally gained the energy to slip out of bed and into my everyday-wear, so I put my socks and boots on and headed out the door. Everything had been packed the night before, so all that was left were the horses. I opened the barn doors and peered in, I could hear them both breathing, and one snorted. I smiled as Alaska poked his head out of the stall, he was such a great boy. I led him to the trailer and took a deep breath. "In you go, Alaska" I said as he stepped onto the trailer, loading fairly easy. I turned around just as Spencer arrived with Legend in hand "Good morning, darling" I said to him as he passed me, leading his mare into the trailer. We were driving down to the airport, we had booked a special plane to accommodate the horses and us and I was excited to see what it looked like. I wont lie, my family was rich, so naturally I booked a first-class plane for us, everything included. As we arrived I looked at everything there was to see, absently handing the valet the keys to my truck, he then coughed and was looking awkwardly at the trailer, I remembered then and told him "Oh, yes, the horses will be coming with us, so they'll go to the boarding station." I said, nodding him away as I walked in the front door of the building. I told the girls it would be a minute before we would be off and to meet at the post that was next to me at the time in 15 minutes, so Kiley and Marcia quickly joined the crowd of people. -after the plane ride- We got off on the mainland, but when I looked out I could see our new little island, it was beautiful, I would surely have many horses here. My Aunt Jessie appeared out of no where and I knew it was her, because the loudest voice around yelled out "Well, Hey there Danielle! You finally moving into the new island?" She chuckled and came up to hug me. "Now, I have a few surprises for you and your family" She said, waving someone on, and then like magic, two people, both holding 2 appaloosas, came from around the corner. "Wow! They're beautiful!" I exclaimed, she laughed and said "Those 2 to the left are your new mares, Magic Mayhem and Keep it Graceful. Then the 2 stallions to the right, Lucky Charm and my personal favorite, All That Jazz. I thought you could use some help!" She said, hugging me once again. I nodded and smiled as I hugged her back. "Well, thank you so much but we have to catch our ferry to our new little paradise, I'm sure they... shouldn't mind... the 4 new horses" I said, sort of worried now. I looked over to them again, Kiley was latched onto Mayhem's face and Marcia was petting Charm, looks like they finally got a horse. Writer's Note- Sorry for the lack of pics, Danielles actually to the point she's got the entire isle built up. Once I get to the point I'm at now there will be loads more photos. I may journal-style it up to the point I'm at now... I don't know though.
