Sims 3 running slow? Does it take ages to load a save? Laggy? Here's your answer!
Intro: In this post I have included two files. You will only need one. as of now I have only set this up for windows 7 users (CD), and windows 7 Origin users.
Before you begin, Head over to your documents>Electronic Arts>sims3 Folder. Once there, locate a folder named "DCBackup" This folder contains a backup of all your .package files, and is not needed! Your packages are already inside the game. You may either open this folder, and delete ALL of the packages, or move them to a new location if you are uncomfortable with deleting them. This will speed up your game loads. Lets begin. Here I have included some .bat files that will clear all of the necessary cache files automatically every time you play!

The other ways of speeding up your game are merging package files, clearing the caches and clearing the DCBackup folder (except for ccmerged.package, this is crucial for some fixes for Store items and what not) That could also help you, I know it helped me (particularly clearing the WorldCaches folder).
