I, much like everyone else, adore your screen-shots! There is a warmth to them and coupled with your eye for composition, there’s a simplicity in them too that just makes them so appealing to look at. I enjoy how you sometimes put together different images, much like how you’d find them laid out in a graphic novel, because it brings an essence of storytelling that makes them so much more engaging than the average screen-shot. I loved seeing your CAW progress; of course it can get frustrating (I’m obsessed with the little details myself) but it’s great you’ve persevered and your island really does look beautiful. I like the layout of your stables, personally a prefer a more open layout like the one’s you’ve built, the closed ones never seem as quiet to me, and I enjoy the quiet. Somehow this brings me to the riding hall you’ve built, which is so impressive! It seems so airy, light and clean; I bet it’s a pleasure to ride in. Your facilities really seem to work in the natural environment that surrounds them as well, there's a definite atmosphere about the place that you've achieved, namely one that's, like your riding hall, airy and well-kept. From what I’ve seen of your horses, their coats are stunning. MAE Before My Time’s chestnut coat is gorgeous, for some reason I find it difficult to achieve a nice coppery sheen with a chestnut coat in game, but I’ll keep trying because obviously it’s possible! Her facial features seem so dainty as well (I’m not sure how to put it really) but she’s an exceedingly pretty mare. MAE Faraway Kingdom is very handsome and after reading your entry for Kaleeko’s ‘Full of Spirit: May Individuality Show’, he seems an absolute sweetheart too. The personalities you've given them really bring them to life c: It looks like I have written a lot! Hopefully you don’t mind c: I’ve only just joined the community and I just felt like commenting on pretty much absolutely everything in your album up until your most recent entry. I have some questions about your editing if you don’t mind! - In the images where you’ve made it appear to rain, are you simply drawing, in Photoshop or an equivalent programme, white flecks (rain drops) and then blurring them to achieve the ‘falling’ effect?
- I’m especially curious about this image:
Those trees in the backdrop appear to be in some kind of mist as well as distance blurred, did you fiddle with the brightness of that area to achieve the misted appearance, or is that some sort of game mod effect I haven’t heard of? The overall effect is wonderful.
