Well, I'm still not sure about the stable layout... I don't like the layout that much, it doesn't feels right for me... Can't tell what I mean, but I think I'll have to try out another layout

So I make slow steps on my world... I still have a lot on my to do list and there's only one lot finished yet - the first and largest (4 box stalls) of the stallion stables. There's still a lot to do and I'm not sure when I'll be finished. Not this week, that's for sure. So this is completely WIP and I most likely will change everything around once more. Overview shot of the island. There are still buildings missing, but the stable layout is complete. The other, empty lots are community lots. The riding hall, suited for dressage and (fake) indoor halter shows. Outside is not finished. In the first shot you can see the riding hall in the background. The finished stallion stable with pasture, bungalow and 4 box stalls.

Man, I feel like designing an island just for myself. This is really great work! It's beautiful and I bet it runs like a dream!

Oh you should see that red glow appearing on my cheeks! (no, I did not put on make-up :P) Thanks a lot for all your comments, they mean a lot to me and give me the motivation to move on. Heather Ann, I'm sorry but I most likely won't ever make a second world - I've got enough of CAW already. It kicked my butt too - Wednesday the textures of my whole world turned brown, just plain, muddy brown and I had to load up an older save and redo the whole trees... That was a nasty piece of work and it made my motivation drop. Its okay now but when I'm done with this island, I only want to play. But it could be possible that I will put up that world for download - w/o the lots of course, in my opinion everyone should do his own Equestrian Center. Lidija and Lisa, I didn't want to make you redo your stables, that wasn't exactly my plan :P You know, for me details are important and it takes a lot of time for me to finish stuff, and especially with that Island, it's taking me so long that I would have preferred it if I didn't had to make it. But there was just no neighborhood fitting for my big project, so I have to do this >.< Brooke, I am not sure about the "runs like a dream" part, it could be that I've got some routing problems with streets and walkways because I wasn't sure how to connect them... I will have to test this first.
And, I got some more pics from the island! If I was to name those two shots I'd call them something like "Harbor View" because the rail you see in the foreground is actually part of the ferry landing. Lighthouse from the other side. The rocky coast facing the sea. Someone on the ferry that connects Marigold Acres with Riverview and Bridgeport lost his car...

Beautiful! And I agree, I also made a world for my stables, and I currently remodeled something but am experiencing MAJOR lag and have to fix that first.

Do you know how to connect walkways, streets and such? I searched for it and even found a video, but it was like... Showing absolutely nothing >.< I need clear instructions on how to do that and then I'll redo it.

Also, if you put this world up for download you will be my hero from now until forever!!!
