Tons of thanks to this awesome tutorial by Cmar. COMPLETESize Slider A slider to scale the entire horse, from about 20.2 hands to 60cm. The full range of the slider is demonstrated in the previews below (chestnut is EA default size). It appears in the body category. ISSUES: While this slider has undergone EXTENSIVE testing, there are still many clipping and animation problems. Very small ponies sink into the ground and fly into the air during animations, interactions are often off (nursing foals, drinking, eating, etc) and sims should not ride ponies under ~11 hands, as they start to resize along with the horse as they get smaller than that. I do NOT consider this a final release and may update it as needed, but for now I have fixed every issue that appears fixable. There IS a problem with the EA forward-flap jumping saddle, however the other saddles and EA (and most CC) tack will resize appropriately. Updates will be posted in this thread as well as on my website. Please report any additional issues here or by contacting me at paragonfarm@hotmail.com. Please also note that some jointed CC may not be compatible with horses significantly larger or smaller than the EA default due to jointing issues. Poses do work, though some adjustment with an OMSP and/or the pose player add-on may be necessary. **NOTE** Make sure to delete the beta testing version before adding this version to your packages folder. You shouldn't be able to place them in the same folder anyway since they have the same name, but it's better to be safe than sorry. FIXED: sims resizing on larger horses. PLEASE RE-DOWNLOAD if you intend to ride drafts.PREVIEWS: sizes . horse vs foal . pony jumping . max heightWIP-back length ~Adult sizes finished 6/29-leg length -leg width -body width -arabian dish -arabian upper neck curve I do take requests, but please keep in mind that it may take awhile for me to get to your slider. Small progress updates will be posted above under the WIP header. While your feedback is greatly appreciated, please try to avoid alerting me to known issues (listed above). I am working on these already. AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD HERE.Want to know how to measure your brand new pony and don't know where to start? See my tutorial here.

Haha mini people! That's cool though, and great that you're working on this. I know nothing about sliders etc. Good luck with your work!

Sliders are actually surprisingly easy, especially since most of us are very familiar with the bones and how they relate to each other from posing. My only suggestion to anyone else who wants to do sliders is to NOT scale the ROOT or ROOT_bind. That didn't work out so well for me. Lol.
I'm scaling spine_0 and pelvis at the same ratio, which together scales the entire body. Are the sim and saddle jointed to any one particular bone, does anyone know? It would be worth a try to see if scaling that bone would make freakish ponies or be subtle enough that the only visible result would be lack of scaling saddles/sims.
Though the tiny saddle is adorable!

It is beyond me why EA didn't include this as a default slider.

Gem Bellows: Hmm, I suspected this, but I hadn't started playing with it yet. Thanks for confirming it. We'll see if that makes a difference! @heather: Probably because of tiny sims and screwed up animations. Lol. But they should have at least given us a small horse like the small dog. @everyone else: Thanks! I'll be busy all day tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have a testing version available some time tonight, if the right end of the slider decides to cooperate and work again.

I busted out laughing at the photos. The comparison against the mailbox is amazing. Great job. I cant wait to see this downloadable. I wonder how a child would look on a small horse/pony since now when you but them on the large horses they stretch out. Hmmm.

They'd fit just right.

Ashley@Equus: I can definitely look into that once I'm satisfied with this one! I know someone was working on Marwari ears (sorry, forgot who it was already!) so they might be a little more suited to fiddling with ears than me. @astra: I have children to test! I'll look into it!

^^ Thank you! And yes, I'm trying to get my ear slider working correctly, it's a little buggy still. I actually sent Nathan a PM about any tips he may be able to share! haha~ It's a work in progress
