Fennec: Yay best friends! xD I've had my eyes on them a little bit, I don't have any room to actually breed them, but I thought I could always sneak one into the amandaria castle facility x) Jade: I love saddlebreds! I actually used to be obsessed with them until I discovered friesians. Still love them to bits though, such gorgeous horses x3 Kyler: Thanks! He's one of my top 3 favourite horses :3 Oh yeah, and if all goes well, I might have as many as two GG foals next year, one out of Crimson Romance :3 Jamie: Christina: No problem! ^^, Lisa: Thanks :3 My haflingers will most likely be bred for next year so I'm 99% sure there'll be a haflinger foal :3

Now that all yearlings and (almost) all adults for sale has been sold, SDE can finally enter it's next fifth year! I'm so excited :3 official blog post: silverdragonestate.weebly.com/1/post/2012/12/new-year-we-welcome-the-new-year.htmlNow in spring time it's time for making breeding plans, and I'll open up the booked breedings service in a moment. Yasmeena is already working on getting the pasture ready for summer, when this place will be full of mares and eventually a bunch of little foals :3

Reminder: the booked breeding service is still taking applications, but will end once I've introduced all new horses (can take a couple of days). Hurry up and apply if it interests you :3 --- Official blog post: silverdragonestate.weebly.com/1/post/2012/12/introductions-a-herd-of-falabellas.html (with links to the new horses' profiles at the bottom!) A herd of falabellasKim, Inez and Sofia recently made a small trip to Starlight Shores. They weren't performing this time around, as the they weren't going to stay for very long. But on a walk through the outskirts of the town, they went by what appeared to be a stud farm - the only thing was the horses were tiny! Intrigued by these mini-horses, the three girls decided to visit the farm, and luckily the owners were friendly and gladly showed them around and talked endlessly about their horses, all falabellas. They continued on into the stables to look at some horses stabled there. But then Inez noticed something in the other row of stalls. There, a pale falabella that were even smaller than the others, peeked on them from behind the walls of an open stall. "Oh, that's just little Milkshake" the owner explained, "his dam died shortly after his birth so we had to bottlefeed him for two weeks before we found a mare that accepted him. But now he's really loyal to us - like a little dog". The girls went over to his stall and extended their hands to him, but the little stallion jumped away to the far end of his stall. "He's a bit shy", the owner said and laughed a little, then cocked his head. "He's for sale actually" he said and the three girls looked excitedly up at him. "He is?" they said almost in chorus. The owner nodded, "yeah, I don't have room for more stallions right now". Kim and Sofia looked at each other. They weren't quite sure how those at home would react if they brought home a falabella. Inez, on the other hand didn't seem to think about that, and instead she asked; "Do you have any mares for sale?". The owner laughed a little but then shook his head, "no, but I know a friend who has four unrelated mares for sale". And so it was decided. After some vet inspections, paper writing and so on, they were officially owners of a whole herd of tiny falabella horses. When they came back home to the estate with a hired trailer, they stopped by the horseshoe stable, where they knew they had an suitable, empty pasture where they could be. No one seemed to be around, so the three girls went ahead and herded the falabellas to their new pasture. Or, more like chasing them and trying to make sure no one escapes. But they made it to the mini's new pasture, and they could finally breath out. And then they sat down for a while with their new little friends. As expected, once Joana and Marthina found out, Joana flipped out while Marthina fell in love with the little horses. The falabellas were extremely popular among the rest of the staff though (who can't resist them? :3). Anyway, Joana never gets her way so the falabellas got to stay. Kim, Inez, Sofia and several of the staff even helped build a small stable for them as well.
