Wow! Kaleeko, your poses are awesome. No more trying to get the sim to bow with "look here" and stuff. Thanks! You make making poses look so easy, I may have to try it out myself, I can do rigs and I can do blender, so it should somehow work. I only never now which ones to make. But would you help me a bit, if I'm just to silly to do it?

^Yes, please do these sorts of poses!^ Just about every picture of me and my horses on the ground are like this, it would be so cool to do the same pictures in sims Whatever you do, I can't wait to see what you make with some practise, these are already amazing! I will most definitely jot them on my to-do list! It is gonna take me some time, though. I'm gonna be real busy here soon, unfortunately. D: Hopefully by the time I get back from vacation though, someone will have uploaded a horse rig. Wow! Kaleeko, your poses are awesome. But would you help me a bit, if I'm just to silly to do it? Awww, ty! x///x ♥ It really is pretty easy--these are my first few poses, and they didn't turn out TOO bad. There are some issues, but right now I just really don't know how to solve them... maybe later on I'll figure it out. If you need help, I'd be glad to give some tips, but I will be totally honest, I might not be able to give much advice because I'm really new to this myself. But I always try to help when I can! Hmmm... Is it possible you know how to extract the rig and mesh for the horse from the Build file? I managed to get the skeleton rig, but that doesn't help much without the actual meat of the horse. XD I need an actual full horse to work with, haha! It's fine if you don't know how, I'm just pretty desperate for it, and the original rig-maker hasn't responded to me about it yet.

These look great kaleeko! I was going to suggest some handler shots, as the sims don't realistically lead the horse! and maybe some jockey position poses for those thoroughbred owners!

I can't promise you anything, as I'm fairly new to those sims files', but can take a look and see, if I can find it.

Thankies! ♥ And yep, I actually have plans to incorporate both of those ideas into later packs. I'll actually be making one handler pose before I go down to the States, since I want a handler pose for the halter competition, but I probably won't be able to polish it and upload until I get back. I can't promise you anything, as I'm fairly new to those sims files', but can take a look and see, if I can find it. Awesome! Like I said, no worries if you can't find the right mesh files, I just figured I'd ask just in case you knew what to look for better than I do, haha!

That's great! Your doing brilliantly. I have no clue how to use these program's, I did have them xD I guess I could just re download. But I still suck at it. I would love to make stuff for the community! Especially more riding clothes. I have the new davinci boots in my eyeline >

Absolutely amazing! I can't wait to try these out.
I do have a question though... Do we need to place the sim on a slot package thing or do they snap up to the correct height automatically?

kaleeko, where did you finde the rig for the horse? I found out how to import meshes (geom) into blender, but so far I haven't found the right file.

Kaleeko, I'm going to message you on Tumblr, but in case you look here first: Amanda sent me these files a while back to use as reference for making CAS meshes. Maybe they'll help you too. They're Milkshape files, but you can always open them in Milkshape and export as a .obj to import into Blender. www.box.com/s/6df0b3940762bd5ee999

Paige@Equus: Hehe!! I know whatcha mean. I would love to be able to make CC, but... ugh I just don't have the patience to learn. Poses are probably the only thing I'll be able to make for anyone, haha... I can't even make horses. Ask Christina. @sylvia: Eeee, yay!! :DD @heather Ann: Nope! Well, not necessarily. I designed all these poses around the horse just standing idle, but some horse animations raise or lower the horse's back a little bit--if you have the horse playing something specific, you may need to use an OMSP or Debug Enabler to raise/lower the sim. @ann: I found it in EA / Sims 3 Pets / GameData / Shared / Packages / FullBuild0_P10.package. The rig itself is easy enough to find just sorting by 'rig' files in the package, buuuutt I don't even know what to look for for the rest of the horse, lol. XD I maaaay not need it now, though!! Christina@Equus: Aaaaah!! WELL, I'm NOT positive this will work, but I will try. I gotta download Milkshape first before I can see if it works, but yaaayy Amanda!! Erin@Equus: Awww, thank you darling!! <3 *squee* I'm so happy you like them!! I hope they look as great in your game as they do in mine @alicia: HRMMM!!! Well, keep trying, refresh the page a few times if you have to--but if it's still not working, someone suggested I put my poses on ModtheSims, so I might... So you'll have somewhere else to download them from. I just might not get to that today, I have a loottt of stuff I have to do before I can play around.

Well, I got it working, Christina!! The only problem with this is that if I need to change the Horse's animation at all, I'll have to do it in Milkshape, but I probably won't have to do that very often. In any case, this should reaaallly help--just don't be expecting any new poses until I see lots of screenshots with the ones I already made, hehe.
