Thank you for the list Gemma I appreciate it That's exactly what I was looking for But it isn't fair to ignore 20 horses who already were approved and registered. I just won't do it, I have made coats for people, horses, and bred horses for other people. I have done a lot of that stuff, but technical things like making worlds and designing websites. Are you kidding? I do not have the time or am I that skilled in making beautiful websites for people. This list is more geared toward people who are really good at the cool stuff. I can appreciate them and there work but I can't... I'm not one of those people who could do that, and I already have an average stable. Not gorgeous but it's simplistic and works for me and others.

You can still have your horses, they just won't be on our system. If you're not bothered about registering them, anyway, then they shouldn't really need to be there and you can join just for the community aspect. We're not limiting what you can do, the whole point of it is just to not go overboard on our server (which costs an arm and a leg as it is). You can go on and add all the coats you've made for people to the list of your tickets -- there you go, you're well on your way! You'll have more than me, I only have 20 I can't make worlds either. I can build websites, but no one would want one because I can't design at all. So we're in the same boat; My plan is to take tonnes of pictures for my scrapbook!<3

I already registered my horses who meant a lot to me and I am pretty sure the community. I can't condone that for other people either, it takes a good deal to register them. I think I could deal with horses who aren't registered and get tickets for extras.
But I am bummed out all the previous work of taking pictures and filling out forms for my stallions and mares who earned there registration. Are now unable to have that done. Plus, Erin for the most part along with everyone still working the registry was here before they approved my 20 horses before. It isn't fair to ask again. Unless they automatically add them.
How many tickets does it take to get a horse registered? I have 37-38 horses altogether and 17-18 horses who need to be registered.
I am sorry it takes so much for the server but this is just weird. We have gorgeous horses that can't be registered until we have worked for it...again. Come on generations of breeding especially for me, goes into it all. Now your asking me to either ignore being able to show 20 horses that are worthy, Or sell them all or retire them. I don't have the time to do it.
This is a game and it was supposed to be fun and exciting. I will do that once my registration is accepted.
Yeah haha

Why is it that I can't be part of the forum without registering fully with the site? I understand that the forum is just a companion to the site, and that it is for members to fully immerse themselves in the game and experience, but it feels like a big FU to people like me who simply what to chat and discuss.
I've been working on things like my stable and my Morgan templates, and although I wasn't an approved member, I was able to get feedback and meet lots of wonderful members here.
Honestly, I don't see the harm on letting non-main site registered members be part of the forum, even if only selected portions of the forum are open to us.

It's a lot of trouble for us all, but it wasn't viable to keep this place running in its current state.
The admin@equus-sims email address got over 500 emails a day, relating to people wanting to run registries or register their hano or arab. Even when the registries closed, people still kept sending emails. It quickly became stressful for everyone involved, since we all have work and school to worry about, on top of Equus.
----
You are all being extremely negative, but please remember that Equus is run by a group of volunteers who have invested everything into both this site and the new site. We don't have to do any of this stuff, but we do it because we're devoted to the site and the members. At the rate equus was going it really would have been a toss up between creating a new system or letting the old system continue, but in the closed state it has been for the past while.

Because when you joined this forum, you were meant to create an establishment or a character, change your avatar to a specific size and change your name to your or your establishment's name. Some people didn't bother to follow these rules, so on the new forum we have to limit who can join and be a bit more strict on people actually following the rules.

Katie Karan your applications are being denied because your avatar is not the correct size. Please read everything thoroughly before registering! And you're welcome!

Hey guys, can you please let me know why my applications for the main site are being denied? If it is because of the IP Address myself and my sister (Lauren Jones) are currently trying to sign up using different laptops but we are still getting denied. Please tell me what I can do to change this and sorry if I am bugging you, I just want to get it sorted out! Thanks Kelly

Locking this, guys, please post questions here for now click. Non-question responses will be deleted. Kelly, make sure the avatar you're trying to use is 200x200 exactly, that's the main reason people are rejected.
