I was wondering what you need to make CC Halters? Like the arab ones and the western show ones you are making? I'm not entirely sure I get what you mean? Material wise, reference wise? Material wise it's just meshing and sometimes a bit of texture. Such as the plates on the new halters are from what I can see, just textures. I mean like starting with a halter, lets say the arab halter. Then you turn it into a complete other kind of halter, then you color it.

Then you have to mesh it according to how you want it. Once it's meshed you'd uv map it, then texture it, which is where you'd put decorations, the chain, etc. Doing this requires a program like Milkshape, something to Uv map in, I use blender, and an art program that reads dds files, to make the textures. @malory: I agree, i'm so thrilled they finally put horses in the game. Pets is the only expansion pack that I have actually, it's the only reason I bought TS3. Glad you guys like the jumps and bridle.

How were you able to get the over the pole error when being set down? When I first made jumps and tested them the jump would disappear whenever I told a sim remove poles. That's why all of mine are incorporated over the wall jump or gate jump. Then again that was quite awhile go....wonder if it's just a matter of the tools being updated. Anyway, you didn't have any issue with that, did you?

Like on the arab stud halters (in real life)?

Anyway, you didn't have any issue with that, did you? There's two different geostates. One is the jump with all poles, one is the jump with poles removed. You have to go to the second geotstate and select all of the jump you want to be visible, excluding the poles you want removed. You'll find the two geostates under meshes. You click on the vertices and faces besides geostate under group 1, then you'll have the options to select the faces of the mesh that you want visible. It's time consuming, but it works.

I was wondering a quick question (well another ), When you go into blender to mesh the halter, which file do you open? Also do you need to do textures to just make the mesh?

You'd have to export the Geom files from sim3pe. However, if you're meshing in blender, you'll have to re-joint the halter or bridle in another program. No, if you just change the original mesh a bit you can get away with the original textures and mapping. Textures have to be done along with uv mapping when you finish your mesh. Textures are your last step.

Basic Arabian Show halter. I did this a while ago and finally tested it. It's not super flashy or anything, but it's more than nothing. You can find it here. spottedacres.weebly.com/halters.html
