Hello! I am Quinn Strauss of Day Break Valley Equestrian Center. Around the interwebs I am more commonly known as Mama T. I greatly enjoy making horse coat colors and brands. I use photoshop cs3, for my brands. Coats are made using sims 3 CAP. I started out with a Gray Pack as I used to run the Andalusian Registry as so many just submitted EAs pearl version. While pearl Andalusians are possible they are rarer then grays, and so I set about taking measures to ensure folks who where interested in Andalusians had realistic color options. I learned how to make a brands from a tutorial on mod the sims and have been having a blast making them ever since. Day Break Equestrian Center has its own brand for our foals, and I am excited for the day when I finally get to place one of these on a foal of ours! I continued my fun with brands making a set for the Andalusian Registry including the classic 'A' cheek brand as well as creating a set of unique "import brands" for the horses. All Day Break Valley Equestrian Center Andalusians feature a series of these brands, be they the classic A and an import region, or the classic A and DBVEC's brand. - Pack of Nine Regional Warmblood Brands + 1 Warmblood Brand Request - Maggie York- Brand Gift - Katie Karan- Brand Request - Erin Cooke- Pack of 2 Sport Horse Brands, 2 Arabian Horse strain Brands, & 4 Trakhener Brands- Set of 3 Tobiano Fullbody Markings- Pack of Ten Chestnut Coats - Pack of Ten Black Coats - Pack of Ten Cream Coats - ie. Buckskins and Palaminos Requests Are Currently ClosedYes I will take requests. This is with the understanding of the knowledge that I have two daughters and a business I run from home. So sometimes it will take me a day or three to get requests finished. If you are requesting a brand or coat I request that you provide me an idea of what you are looking for, be it a full blown inspiration piece or you have nailed down point by point what you want. I will not work with 'Follow your own inspiration.' Inspiration is hard enough to come by as it is. I Do NOT create custom markings or horses. I will NOT recreate a specific horse, I create base coat varieties and will do my best to match a request. As far as markings I will create them when inspiration strikes me to do so. If you request a custom brand or base coat from me, until I have your permission to let others download it will not be made available to the public. I do retain the right to post a preview of it here as an example of my past works.

Base Coat PacksThis is the pack that start it all for me. ;D Andalusians are by majority gray colored, so I hoped that this would help individuals wanting a realistic gray andalusian or any other realistic gray breeds! Grays have a lot of variety that they are not given credit for and this pack was very fun for me to create. You can visit my downloads page and pick a coat individually or download all ten at once. I wasn't sure where to go with my second pack, and so after discussing it with a few folks on Equus-Sims cbox, I decided to go with a Bay Pack. The comment being that they had seen a lot of chesnuts, but very few Bays. I was stunned and not at the same time. I have often heard folks say that they find bays boring and drab. Let me tell you I am flabbergasted by these people. The variety and beauty of bay coats is astounding and continues to amaze me. I could have done twenty more of these lovely coats, and may still do them later. Andalusians are by majority gray colored, but if I where to say there was a close second that seemed to be favored by breeders worldwide, bays would be it! You can visit my downloads page and pick a coat individually or download all ten at once. VeinsA request had been placed for veiny horses. As many of us can attest to, our horses get a bit "pumped" if you will after a good work out. I set out to provide this realistic addition to our games. I have not had a chance to use this in game myself yet. It is my recommendation from fiddling in CAS with these markings to select a similar coat color of your horse and set it to a 50%/75% opacity. I do recommend using them both, it gives it a slightly more realistic appearance in my opinion. Underneath these veins is also three new dappling markings. They are full body and I recommend using them in groups as well. They can make some very nice variations if you play with them. You can visit my downloads page and download both versions and the dapples.

Free To Use BrandsAll my brands are free form Brands not regional brands, meaning they will be under markings in CAS and you will have to play with the size of the marking, as well as spin it etc place it on different sides. This is my personal preference as I feel it adds a bit of realism to the markings imo because I don't see any horse holding/standing very still for the actual various processes available to do this. This is not to say that if I know someone else made a certain brand in regional form that I will make a free form brand either unless requested to do so by the party it was originally made for. I will also link to others brands so that I know others have done them and I don't have to especially in the case of breed specific brands.Wanting to bring some realism to the Andalusian Registry I decided to make some brands for andalusian enthusiasts. Based off real life Lippizaner breeds I started this pack out with a classic A brand for Andalusian owners/breeders. I then went in search of some Andalusian brands and alas coming up pretty empty handed decided instead to create 'Import Region' Brands to designate where the horses had come from. You can visit my downloads page and pick a brand individually. Inspired by the real breed brands for Lipizzaner's I felt it was necessary to do so, and have now finished creating a set for Lipizzaner enthusiasts. My Andalusian regions of import brands can also be applied to this breed in place of the Piber Crown if anyone would like. You can visit my downloads page and pick a brand individually. This pack is now complete. I will not be making the following regional brands - Belgian and - Danish. There is already a Belgian linked in the name above, and to my knowledge a Danish one being made by the forum member linked in the name above as well. You can visit my downloads page and download all ten in a complete set. Random PackThis 'pack' includes 8 brands. Split into three separate packages of Trakhener, Sport Horse, and Arabian Sub Strains. The Trakhener pack includes the American, British, Canadian and Trakhener Brands. The Sport Horse Pack includes the Belgian Sport Horse and the Irish Sport Horse Brands. The Arabian Sub Strain pack includes Anglo Arabian and Shagya Arabian. You can visit my downloads page and download each set separately. Brands For OthersThese brands are not free use, unless authorized by the individual who requested the brands. If they are free use they will be available at my downloads page.

Valeria de la Torre - Glad it was useful! ;D I will have to look into Alters and see what brands they may already use. ^^ @walden@Equus - So sorry dear, had that one done a while back. Haven't had time in the last month or so to really make any new brands. lol Rockerduck - Sorry about this, I had made changes a few days ago to my linking system and forgot to update the links here. They should be working now.

Thank you Sandra! I would be more then happy to make your brand for you if you are still in need of it. I would need a black version. You can link it here or pm it to me.
I have also decided that this coming weekend before my western pleasure event ends I will be playing with markings. I want to make my other base coats, but I love the varieties of markings splashes, sabinos, and tobianos offer & have a few custom beauties I want to have created soon.
